Outfit one: As mentioned in my previous winter look book post, this coat from the Asos sale (sadly it is not in the sale any more - it was reduced to £52 when I order but it is back up to £70). I paired it with a basic casual outfit, as all of my outfits are!

Sale Buys #2

Friday, January 24, 2014
Here is the second installment of my sale buys, the first post was a mixture of items that I had purchased over the month of december but this post is just boxing day/end of december sale items. I haven't gone crazy like last year - I have bought quite a few things though (they were on sale and super cheap). The items from this haul are from: Superdrug, Asos, SpaceNK, Feelunique, Missguided, Newlook and a few bits of primark.
Superdrug: Last year superdrug had an amazing sale with a lot of things for around 10p, 99p or £1.99 and it sold out so quickly obviously. This year I managed to grab a few bargains! I bought a vanilla and honey hand cream and a bath salt set - both of which were 49p each! I bought a colour works lip crayon set which should have been around £15 but I paid £1.99. A rose manicure set which I think was 99p. A leafy and lovely big set for £1.99. Another large gift set, the vanilla and honey set for £1.99. A flutter bath duo for £1.49 I think and finally some chocolates for 49p and 99p. INCREDIBLE BARGAINS, the most expensive item was £1.99!!

Feelunique: A couple of cheeky buys from feelunique, the first is a cute brush set from Ectools. I love Ecotools brushes and this set is amazing value for money. I paid just less than £10 for five super soft, smooth, high quality brushes. I would definitely recommend Ecotools brushes. I also repurchased the Caudalie Beauty Elixir for £9, I had been meaning to buy it for months. I bought the new limited edition version.

Asos: You maybe have seen these boots already in my OOTD post a about a week ago, click here to see the post. They are amazing heeled ankle boots, they were £25 reduced from £50. I adore them!

Newlook: I love Newlook, especially their coats. I bought this smart grey coat for £17, with delivery it was only around £18. Bargain.

Missguided: This item isn't from the sales but I needed it, I love anything with breton/nautical stripes! It is a cute breton stripe top which was £9.99.

Spacenk: I always buy something in the amazing SpaceNK sale, this year I only purchased one item (so far) and it is the cute Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Set. I wanted this before it was in the sale, it was in my dream christmas wish list. I couldn't resist it at £14 for the set.

Primark: Finally some items from Primark, Primark in Manchester did have so many sale items! I bought a adorable London themed makeup bag which I adore for £3. I bought two sale items, the 50p christmas cards and a cute piggy bank (which a moustache on it) for only £1!

That is the second part of my sale buys series, there will probably be a part three - I made an amazon and a boots order (oops) x

OOTE: Manchester Christmas Markets

Saturday, November 23, 2013
Myself, my parents and my sister went to Manchester to do some shopping in Primark, Boots and to see the famous Manchester Christmas markets which I have been going to since I was 6/7 years old when they first started! They are celebrating their 15th year in Manchester - stalls from France, Germany, Austria, Denmark, the UK and other European countries are all around the city, along with pretty fairy lights and gorgeous smells of mulled wine, crepes and cinnamon.
We went to the main area at the town hall first and it was INSANE! It was crazy busy, you couldn't move or buy anything, it was a waste of time going to that area. We then went to the 'french stalls' at the Royal exchange and other stalls up to the shambles. The shambles was the best area (as was the french) it wasn't crazy busy and it looked so beautiful. It was pretty and festive however it was -1 degree celcuis which is fairly cold!

I didn't have anything to eat but I did have a Baileys hot chocolate with whipped cream on top (called an angels delight) which was incredible! It was about £6 because you could keep the mug afterwards - or you could give the mug back and get £2 back. The stalls are gorgeous, I also bought from chocolate strawberries as I do every year *drools* if you are planning on going to the Manchester Christmas markets you will not be disappointed, I have been pretty much every year since I was a child - although best not to go on the weekends and avoid the Albert square/town hall area!

I wore my new Primark scarf (£4), my trusty Dorothy Perkins skinny jeans (size 8 for reference), my Promod faux leather jacket, my black La Redoute boots and my bag is from Asos (sale). I think I am going to have a FOTE (face of the evening) from this night posted in a few days with a video tutorial/demo - if you would be interested.
This is my first time using the Youtube video editor, I hope it is ok! Photos and video thanks to my sister using iPhone 5.

Mini Primark Haul

Wednesday, October 16, 2013
I went to primark at the weekend (Bury, The Rock) and I bought a few basics and some home ware - I love Primark's autumn/winter clothing and homeware, I need to go back to primark soon for a couple more candles and a tartan scarf!
1. Dark Green Jumper (£7): I saw a stand of jumpers and this shade just stood out to me - I love dark green clothing, especially during this time of the year and this jumper is super soft and cosy - it is fairly thin but still warm and quite high quality! I am definitely going back to get a black one and the dark beige one.

2. Primark Black 60d tights (£3): Primark tights are getting a little bit more expensive, I remember not too long ago when tights were £1.50 and £2 anyway, they are great staples and go with most dresses. The super cosy ones are gorgeous too - they have a fleece/soft lining.

3. Black Skater Dress (£5): A skater dress for £5! Thank you Primark! I saw a couple of these in spotted prints and some that were plain, I bought the black one as 99% of the time I wear dark clothing and this dress is fantastic. The length is great on me and I am just under 5ft but the dress did have a tiny rip in the shoulder which I am going to sew - check before you buy these dresses.

4. Grey Christmas Pj Bottoms (£5): There is nothing nicer, especially at this time of year when the leaves are falling off the trees, the dark hours are getting longer and it is getting chilly, than a pair of fleecy, warm, cosy pyjama trousers/bottoms/pants - what ever you want to call them! These are super soft, warm and I love the pattern.

5. Sleep in rollers (£2): I read a blog post about £1 sleep in roller in the poundshop or poundland and I was going to get them but I saw these in primark so I picked them up. They are kind of dupes for the sleep in rollers that are about £20 - I haven't tried them yet but they look great.

6. Primark Grey/Black Camis (£2.50): Another great basic from primark - cami's. I bought a dark grey one and also a black one - they are staples in my wardrobe as they are great under sheer tops, for layering or for under dresses. I also love the adjustable straps.

7. Firewood fig candle (£1.50): I had to buy a primark Christmas/autumn candle - I bought the firewood fig scent and I have been burning it the past couple of days and I love it - the scent is really nice and autumnal and the scent is pretty strong too, usually cheap candles only have really subtle scent but this one is really impressive!

I also bought a tin candle (£1.50) in the scent 'cinnamon clove' which has a cute glittery snowflake on the candle and it smells amazing! I bought a cute 'keep calm man at work' oven mitt for my dad which was reduced to £1 and I also bought a couple of basic t-shirt bras in white and nude for only....£2.50!

Just a video to show the items I bought from my recent trip to primark! x

August Primark Haul

Thursday, August 29, 2013
Here are my recent purchases from the latest primark trip, we went to primark on the 24th August, so all or most of the items featured here should be in stores! I love the new autumn/winter clothing in primark recently, I could have bought a lot more but I did restrain myself...to an extent!
Here is my first purchase from primark, I saw this cardigan and I instantly fell in love with it! It was £12  and it looks like something you would buy from Urban Outfitters, in my opinion. The cardigan has a tribal/aztec print and it is cream/black. It also has batwing sleeves and it is longer at the front than the back. I love the loose, casual, I just threw it on feel of this cardigan. The cardigan only came in size S, M or L, no normal sizes so I bought a size S, Small. This is a jumper that I saw on a youtube primark haul, I am a bit addicted to primark hauls! I love the dove grey shade, it is not lightweight but it is not a really heavy knit either - it is a nice in between seasons jumper. This jumper was £8 and I bought a UK 8. It is smooth, soft and it feels very well made, unlike some primark jumpers/knits.
I think I need a moments silence for these next two tops.....I love them! I love the stripes on the arms and the casual, american style! And the best part, they were only £5 each! I bought the black and grey tops - there was also a red top in the same style which I may have to get - and I might have to buy another black one...
Same top as before in a light grey shade, love it! It looks great with boots or with converse, in my opinion and it is great on its own or for layering too. I love all of the american, raglan, varsity and band tops and t-shirts in primark recently.
Finally from primark a dress - I also saw this in a haul video and I instantly fell head over heels for the print! I love the print and apparently everyone else does because there were only about four dresses in this style left! I bought the only size 8 I could find, the other sizes were 14 and 16 I think so it must be popular! The print is gorgeous and I love the cute sleeves and the length is ok for me - I am 4 ft 10 so most dresses down me but this one is great. This dress was only....wait for it...£8! Bargain, gotta love primarni!
