Naturisimo Skin Radiance Discovery Box
Naturisimo come out with their discovery boxes every month and every month I am impressed, especially with the amount/quality of the brands included in each box every single month. Each box is themed and this month the theme is 'skin radiance' which I'm all about especially during the dull, skin hating winter months.

The *Naturisimo Skin Radiance Discovery Box (£12.95) - the box contains eight luxury, high end, high performance skincare samples. This month the value of the box is a whopping £60! The brands included are as follows: The Organic Pharmacy, Kae, Argentum, Tata Harper, Caudalie, Elemental Herbology and Aurelia Probiotic Skincare.

- Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Miracle Cleanser (30ml): I have reviewed a few Aurelia Probiotic Skincare samples already, including this cleanser which I really like. It is a basic, creamy cleanser that feels luxurious on the skin. I'd recommend this box just because it includes an amazing sample size of this cleanser! Also it comes with an adorably packaged cloth to use with the cleanser.

- Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Firming Serum (10ml): If there's one thing I love in the beauty world, it's french skincare - the french know their skincare and Caudalie is one of the best brands, in my opinion. I adore their SOS serum and all of their bodycare products. I think this tiny bottle is so adorable but it is actually a pretty good trial size and it comes with a pipette dispenser.

- The Organic Pharmacy Lifting Serum (2ml): I haven't tried anything from this brand before but I always hear great things. I don't personally need any lifting skincare products yet but it seems like a nice product - my mum has been trying it and she likes it but it does contain micro shimmer which won't be for everyone.
Naturisimo Skin Radiance Discovery Box
- Kae Argaroyale Day Cream (2ml): Again, another brand I haven't tried or even heard of which is why these discovery boxes are fantastic. The day cream is natural and certified organic. Myself and my mum have tried this one as it is for mature and or dehydrated skin and we both like it; it absorbs quickly, it smoothes the skin instantly and it smells really nice!

- Argentum La Potion Infinie (5ml): Another french brand and I have high hopes! I haven't tried yet but it sound promising as 99.5% of the ingredients are natural. It claims to be a super hydrating, restorative anti-aging cream.

- Elemental Herbology Vital Glow Overnight Resurfacing Cream (15ml): The Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Facial Hydrator was one of my 2015 favourites so I am always happy to try more from the brand. I think a 15ml sample tube is a fantastic sized sample for this brand as it is a slightly pricey brand. I love the texture of this cream, Elemental Herbology products always feel so luxurious! So far so good!

- Tata Harper Moisture Mask (7.5ml): Tata Harper is a much raved about brand by American bloggers and youtubers and I love the Lip and Cheek Tint I tried last year. I've only used this mask once and I have mixed opinions on it. It didn't irritate my skin, it feels nice on the skin and I love the sample pot but it didn't moisturise my skin as much as I thought it would - I think it's worth a try though.

Overall, a fantastic value box, in my opinion with some amazing brands included. I love the Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Cleanser and the Elemental Herbology Vital Glow especially but the other brands are pretty damn good too although I have mixed opinions on The Organic Pharmacy Serum and the Tata Harper Moisture Mask but I think everything in the box is well worth a go. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

Naturisimo Makeup Discovery Box (Worth £40)

Tuesday, November 10, 2015
If you are a fan of beauty subscription boxes then you'll love the Naturisimo discovery boxes which are released every month. I've received the previous boxes and they have all been fantastic as they contain a wide range of samples and the products/brands are natural. As the world of natural/green beauty can be a little confusing, then the discovery boxes are a fantastic way of trying a range of natural products/brands.

The *Naturisimo Discovery Box (£9.95) this month is a makeup discovery box which makes me very happy as one of things I love the most in beauty boxes is makeup! This box contains three full sizes products and four samples from Bella Pierre, Lily Lolo, Caudalie, Living Nature and Vapour Organic Beauty.

- Bella Pierre Lipstick in Catwalk (full size): Bella Pierre lipsticks contain Vitamin C and E as well as natural waxes and mineral pigments. I have tried a lipstick from the brand before and I like them so I was excited to try this natural shade. The shade is a 'your lips but better' shade although it is lighter/brighter on the lips. It feels comfortable and it is perfect for everyday but the longevity isn't amazing.

- Vapour Organic Beauty Stratus Instant Skin Perfector (2ml): I am always looking for highlighters and products to add a glow to my dull pale skin and this one is amazing. This product is quite unique as it is a primer, moisturiser and 'no colour' foundation in one. I have been using it as a primer and highlighter as it adds a gorgeous natural and subtle radiance to the skin.

- Caudalie Radiance Tinted Moisturiser (Light/Medium, 2 x 1ml): Caudalie is one of my favourite brands, I love their skincare, fragrances and bodycare products. I used to use tinted moisturiser all of the time but I don't now as I need more coverage although this tinted moisturiser is great for 'no makeup' days and I think it will be perfect in the summer when I want less coverage.

- Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum (1ml): I have tried the Caudalie SOS serum and I loved it so I am excited to try this one as my sensitive, dry skin seems to like Caudalie products.

- Lily Lolo Mineral
Eyeshadow in Pink Champagne (full size): Loose eyeshadows aren't really on my list of makeup items I want to try as I think they will just be messy and time consuming however this product is gorgeous. The Pink Champagne shade is a pretty, natural pink shade with gorgeous shimmer that catches the light beautifully so it would be PERFECT for the festive season. It almost has a coral or salmon tone to it and the packaging is great!

- Living Nature Eye Pencil in Midnight (full size): The final item is a creamy black pencil liner from the New Zealand based brand Living Nature. I've tried a few of their skincare samples and they were fantastic! The liner is creamy enough to smudge for a easy smokey eye (again perfect for christmas/new year makeup looks) but it does seem to last on my skin.

Overall, I'm really happy with quite a few of the products in this months box, including the gorgeous Lily Lolo eyeshadow shade, the everyday lipstick from Bella Pierre and the amazing Vapour skin perfector. I'd definitely recommend this box if you love natural makeup or if you want to try new brands/products. The value of the box is £40 which is amazing as you are not even paying a quarter of the value! Overall rating: ★, 5/5.

Naturisimo De-Stress + Unwind Discovery Box

Wednesday, October 07, 2015
Every month Naturisimo bring out fantastic value discovery boxes and this months box has to be my favourite by far! The theme of this months box is de-stressing and unwinding which are two of my favourites things to do, along with eating and writing!

- Hydrea London Stress Spot Massager which is a unique product and even though over the past couple of years, I've bought so many beauty boxes, I've never received anything like this, it's basically a body massager. It has rows of rubber nodules which actually feel nice when rolled onto the skin. I think I could get use out of it although it will take some getting used to.

Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm is a product I already have and I keep it in my bag as it is amazing for on the go stress relief and a pick me up - it's even great as a subtle solid perfume! I love mine and I'm glad I now have a back up!

- This Works Sleep Pillow Mist is something I've had my eye on for ages but as the full size is a little pricey for a pillow mist, in my opinion, I'm happy that a mini is included in the box. The mist smells so nice and relaxing, I've only just started using it on my pillow and pjyamas so I don't see any difference yet but fingers crossed.

- Pukka Tea Samples are a welcome addition for me as over the past year, after hating tea all of my life, I now love herbal, mint and green tea! The Love, Relax and Serene Jasmine Green Tea are included in this months box and I can't wait to try them as I already love Pukka tea (the triple mint tea is amazing!)

- ila Spa Bath Soak smells so relaxing and calming as it contains vetiver and petitgrain. I love bath products and I can't wait to try this one as I do tend to have more baths rather than showers during the colder months, anyone else?

- Dr Hauschka Calming Lavender & Soothing Almond Body Cream Sachets, now I have to be honest and say that I'm personally not a big fan of sachet body creams but I guess you do get to try the product once or twice to test it out. I've only tried the lavender one so far and I love it.

Overall, I think this box is the best so far! I love the range of products and the theme, especially at this time of the year. I love the Scentered therapy balm and the This Works pillow mist so far; I can't wait to try the bath soak and tea. It's definitely worth the money especially because the value of the products is £28! Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

Naturisimo Hair Heroes Box (worth £34)

Naturisimo Hair Heroes Box (worth £34)

If you have been following my blog for the past few months then you may have seen the two Naturisimo 'discovery' boxes that are released every month. They are natural beauty boxes which have a different theme, for example, the first box I received was the Travel Essentials Box and the most recent box was the Cleanse and Polish Box, both of which I loved.

The new *Naturisimo Hair Heroes Box (£9.95) is themed around luxury hair samples to give your hair the attention it deserves. The box contains three generous samples sizes as well as four sample sachets from the following brands: Tabitha James Kraan, Rahua and Swell.

I haven't tried anything from Tabitha James Kraan which is an organic, natural haircare brand. The Tabitha James Kraan Organic Hair Cleanser in Golden Citrus (£9, 60ml) smells amazing, it's one of the nicest smelling hair products I've used for a while actually. The bottle is really unusual for a shampoo as it is metal. The shampoo itself is a little disappointing as it doesn't seem to lather at all in my hair and I don't feel like it made my hair as clean as it could be. However the Tabitha James Kraan Organic 4 in 1 Conditioner in Golden Citrus is amazing - it smells nice and it leaves my hair smooth, tangle free and it's very light so it doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy, win win!

Sticking with the hair washing theme, I tried the Rahua shampoo and conditioner samples a couple of days ago and I did only get one use out of the sachets because I do have long and thick hair. Both have an unusual scent and the shampoo doesn't lather like a lot of natural shampoos as they don't contain SLS or sodium laureate sulphate. The conditioner is fantastic, it leaves my hair soft and completely tangle free which is very impressive as my hair is thick and prone to knots.

Next up the Swell Ultimate Volume Hair Masque which is a really generous sample size. It is a deep treatment and claims to add volume and gloss by restoring elasticity and manageability. I love the packaging, the hair mask is quick and easy to apply and it does actually give my hair volume. I find that most products that claim to be volumising don't really add any volume to my hair but this one does.

There are also two sample sachets from Rahua (which is a 100% natural, vegan brand) including their cream wax and finishing treatment both of which sound great but I haven't had the chance to use them yet.

Overall, a bit of a mixed box for me personally, probably because I'm not that used to natural haircare but the Tabitha James Kraan conditioner is amazing (both of her products smell damn gorgeous) and the Rahua conditioner is also fantastic. The Swell mask is a nice product but it does add volume to my thick, long hair. There are a couple of products that haven't wowed me but the box overall is great value for money as the contents is worth £34!! It's definitely worth a try, especially if you want to treat your hair and start using more natural products. Overall rating: ★☆, 4/5.

Naturisimo Cleanse + Polish Discovery Box

Naturisimo Cleanse and Polish Discovery Box
Naturisimo have just launched their latest discovery box, I have reviewed their previous box which was the Travel Essentials Discovery Box; it was a fantastic box and in my opinion it was amazing value too. This time round, the box is based around keeping your skin cleansed, polished and squeaky clean. Naturisimo is the UK's leading organic and natural beauty online retailer and they have a fantastic range of products, although the world of natural and 'green' products can be confusing so the discovery boxes are a great way of trying out a range of new products.

The *Naturisimo Cleanse and Polish Discovery Box (£9.95) contains seven smaller sized products including: Skin + Tonic Steam Clean and Cloth (15ml), Madara Multi Action Micellar Water (5ml), Madara Brightening AHA Peel Mask (12.5ml), Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash (50ml), Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator (30ml) and the John Masters Birch + Cedarwood Cleansing and Shave Bar (4.5g). The latter three products are actually really good sizes!

I have already reviewed the full size version of the Skin and Tonic London Steam Clean Cleansing Balm and Cloth and I love it so I'm really glad that I now have a miniature version which is just adorable! The first product that I tried was the Madara Micellar Water sachet which contains hyaluronic acid which is great for keeping moisture within the skin. I did only get one use out of the sachet but it removed all of my base makeup and brows however it didn't remove any of my waterproof mascara. I thought a sachet would be messy to use but if you just cut a tiny corner off then it isn't messy at all.

Next up, the Green People Fruit Scrub Exfoliator which is the type of physical exfoliator that contains scrubby grains suspended in a cream - they are not my favourite personally as most aren't exfoliating at all. However, this scrub is abrasive but it isn't too harsh although if you have hypersensitive or broken skin then I wouldn't recommend physical exfoliators on the whole. The scrub smells so nice and it leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft! Sticking with the skincare theme, Balance Me Pure Skin Face Wash is also included in the box although while taking hundreds of blog photographs (literally), I managed to forget to photograph it. When it comes to Balance Me skincare, I am honestly not that interested as it is always included in magazines and it doesn't seem that exciting or special. Nonetheless I tried the face wash and it is actually a great, basic face wash; it isn't anything super special but if you just want a basic, no fuss face wash that doesn't contain any parabens, sulphates, fragrance or other nasty ingredients then this is the one for you!

The last facial skincare item is the Madara Brightening AHA Peel Mask which states on the box that it can't be used on hypersensitive or broken skin which thankfully I don't have currently but to be safe, I have only been using it on my t-zone which isn't sensitive at all. The mask can cause redness and tingling as it does remove a thin layer of skin cells, I personally only experienced a tiny amount of redness on my nose which faded fairly quickly - I thought I would experience tingling/irritation but I didn't. After one use it did leave my skin very smooth and I think it made my pores smaller but it might just be a placebo effect - I've tried it twice but I need to try it more to see results I think. You can actually buy this sample size individually which I think is great!

Last but not least my favourite item so far from the box, the John Masters Birch + Cedarwood Cleansing and Shave Bar which smells so nice, it lathers quickly and easily into a thick soapy lather. I've only used it twice for my underarms and also my legs but it works SO well. I haven't tried anything like it before but it leaves my skin so smooth, it made the whole shaving process so much quicker and easier and I didn't cut myself which is a miracle. I have already purchased two bars as they are on sale for £2 each - bargain!

Overall, a great box although a little heavy on the skincare in my opinion, it would have been nice to have another bath or shower product included. So far I LOVE the shaving bar, the facial exfoliator and I already loved the cleansing balm. I need to try the peel mask more to see results I think so I will update this post when I have tried it for a few more weeks.

What do you think of this latest Naturisimo discovery box? Will you be purchasing one? Have you tried any of the products included?
