Choies Fashion: Paisley print dress

Wednesday, September 25, 2013
I was contacted a few months ago by Choies Fashion, an online clothing store about working with them. I looked on their online shop and there were so many cute items from dresses, jumpers and tops to sunglasses, jewellery and hats. I agreed straight away and I picked the *paisley print dress which I can't seem to find on the website any more but I love it - for more information about the website, click here
Here is the dress that I picked, firstly I love the print/colour of the dress, it is gorgeous! I also love that it goes with tan items, such as my tan belt (newlook). The size was 'one size' and there were measurements so I knew how it would look on me and the length is fantastic as usually dresses are long on me (as I am quite petite) but the dress comes to just above my knees. I am a UK 8. I also love the sleeve length, 3/4 sleeve dresses that fit me are quite rare to find so I am really happy with this dress. The fabric is a silky material, it is smooth and floaty and I did take this dress on holiday with me in August but it was far too cold/raining/windy to wear it unfortunately.

Overall, I love my dress and I love the range of dresses on Choies - I also really like the jumpers, tops and the bags are really cute too. Choies clothing/accessories are on trend, celebrity inspired and they have some gorgeous and unusual pieces - I would definitely recommend looking at their website (especially at the dresses!). I will probably be posting a Choies wish list soon (not sponsored) because there are some items that I love!

Week in photographs # 32

Sunday, August 04, 2013
Well another week and it is nearly time for my holiday - today we have been last minute shopping and packing! Anyway, my week has consisted of: sale shopping and last minute shopping for holiday, meeting up with family and friends because I will be on holiday for my 21st, getting some early birthday presents, packing, writing lots of blog posts and having my hair cut for the Little Princess Trust!

We have been really busy this week because we are going away in a few days time for two weeks! Excited! Family and friends have been coming round this week which has been great and myself and my sister have received some early birthday presents because we are going to be on holiday for my sisters 18th birthday and my 21st birthday - I'm getting old!

Also this week I had my hair cut - I had about 9 inches cut off which is about 22cm! I feel weird with short hair (well it is short for me!) but I do like it. I just have to get used to it being so short and I need to re-learn how to style and maintain short hair. I have donated my hair to the Little Princess Trust which is an charity that makes wigs for children with cancer so it is a great cause - I have created a whole blog post on my new hair and the Trust so if you want to know more about it, click here.

I also have been writing lots of new, summer related blog posts that I can post while I am away - although I will not be able to reply to emails or comments really because the internet is not free on royal caribbean cruises and it is a bit expensive. I have some exciting summer favourites, summer reads, back to school and review posts coming over the next three weeks - also some holiday and birthday posts when I come back.

I hope everyone had a great week x

Week in photographs # 31

Saturday, July 27, 2013
Here is another week in photographs, is it just me or are the weeks passing very quickly! My week has consisted of: sale shopping (not a surprise there!), writing summer/holiday blog posts, looking for hair style/cut ideas, getting ready for holiday, thunderstorms and being in the local newspaper!

Firstly, I was in featured in my local newspaper because of my First class degree which I am really happy about. The newspaper editors also mentioned that I am going to donate my hair (about 8/9 inches of it) to the Little Princess Trust which is a UK organisation that makes real hair wigs, free of charge, for children suffering from cancer - I am having my hair cut on the 1st august and I will make a separate post about it and the Little Princess Trust but if you want to check out their site - click here

Also this week I have been writing some summer/holiday/travel themed blog posts that I will publish while I am on holiday, I will be away for two weeks from the beginning(ish) of august to mid august. I have been doing some panicky last minute holiday shopping this week which is ok because all of the final reductions are on now and there are some amazing bargains, especially on Newlook, Oasis, House of Fraser and Dorothy Perkins. There will be some sale haul posts coming soon.

Finally, this week I have been missing the hot sunny weather because it has been raining and horrible here - there were some really strong thunder and lightening storms this week that physically shook the house! I guess the British summer is over now! Oh and the royal abby was born and named this week which is exciting.

My favourites = Perfume: Diptque Vetvyerio. TV/Movies: The Heat, Modern Family and Dexter. Food: watermelon and noodles - not together! Apps: A Beautiful Mess and Instatext.

I hope everyone had a great week x
