Sale Haul: Kiko

Kiko Cosmetics

This is the first in a (long) line of sale haul blog posts which will be posted over the next two weeks or so. Christmas is a time for giving - and also receiving and I have been receiving a lot of deliveries from royal mail and couriers! Firstly is a haul from Kiko cosmetics which is an amazing Italian makeup brand - if you are in the UK or parts of Europe you can buy Kiko online. 

I bought seven items from Kiko (I placed my order when I saw that they were having a sale on, on their christmas products - 30% off - which was the 19th of December). I bought six items that were reduced and one item that wasn't as the minimum order value for Kiko is £25 and I needed a small item to make up the difference. I bought a foundation, a concealer, a creamy lip pencil, a long lasting limited edition lipstick, a nail polish, a empty tub container and a limited edition eyeshadow quad - all for £25.90. The shipping was free for some reason when I made my order and it is not my first order with Kiko.

Firstly I bought the Kiko Anti-age foundation in the shade 01 Peach Pink. The foundation was an impulse buy, I didn't research the foundation and I didn't look at swatches online before I bought it was it was only £3.90. The foundation shade is a good match for me (I am very pale, NW15 in Mac). The foundation shade is a very good match for me, the foundation has medium coverage and a natural finish. The foundation doesn't really highlight any dryness on me and it doesn't look matte or dewy. It applies and blends well with my real techniques expert face brush and it helps to cover my dark circles, pores and redness - but it definitely doesn't cover anything! Overall, a great foundation - I think it will be in my January favourites.

The next item I bought was the Kiko 3D Lifting Concealer in the shade 02 Natural. This concealer was also £3.90 and it also comes in a pump bottle like the foundation. I bought the concealer in the shade 02 not 01 as the shade 02 looked peachy in tone so I thought it would be good for under eye correcting. The concealer shade is a good match for me and the slight peachy undertones of the concealer do help to reduce the darkness - although it doesn't have the coverage I need for under my eyes and it does crease under my eye easily. Although this concealer is great for helping cover redness and pores - this concealer is fantastic at covering the large pores on my nose. It applies and blends like a dream and it is just a great concealer - although maybe just for blemishes/redness/pores and not so much for under eyes, in my opinion. 

Next up is a Creamy Lip Pencil in the shade 404. I already have one of the Kiko creamy lip pencils in the shade 401 from my previous Kiko haul (link here to the haul). The lip pencil is really smooth, soft and creamy which means that it applies very smoothly/easily. The shade is a gorgeous deep rose pink with strong brown undertones. The pencil is matte and it looks natural on the lips, the shade can be subtle or built up. I use this pencil to line my lips then to fill in my lips so that it is an all over lip colour. Overall, I do recommend the Kiko creamy lip pencils.

Next is a lipstick - the Kiko Unlimited Lipstick in the shade 05 Dark Salmon. This lipstick was priced at £5.20 and it is a gorgeous red shade with peachy pink undertones. The lipstick applies very smoothly and it has a creamy soft texture. The lipstick is very easy to apply and it looks gorgeous on the lips. The lipstick has good longevity (Although I will need to test it for long before a full review) and it is a bit difficult to remove.

The next makeup product I bought was a nail polish in the shade 393 which is a gorgeous deep dark green. In some lights this shade look like a deep forest green but in other lights it can look black or a dark navy. The shade is really nice and great for this time of year. The polish applies well, it dries quickly and there is minimal streaking/patchiness. Although without a topcoat this shade wears at the tips within a day - I will have to try it with my Seche Vite topcoat.

The final makeup product I bought from Kiko is a eyeshadow quad - the Color Fever Eyeshadow Quad in the shade 01 Unexpected Rosy Taupe. This palette should have been £12.90 but it was reduced to £9 which I think is great. The shades are all shimmery (I would have preferred a couple of matte shades) but the shade themselves are just gorgeous! The white shade is fantastic as a highlight (brow bone or inner corner), the silvery taupe and medium brown shades are great all over the lid and the dark brown is great as a liner or in the outer corner. Overall, great packaging, great shades...a great product although the shade do crease within a hour or so without a primer.

Kiko Cosmetics @ Trafford Centre

Kiko has been one of my favourite brands since I discovered one of their stores in Taormina, Sicily back in about 2010; I knew I would love the brand and products from the first venture into the Sicily store and I managed to spend €40...oops.

Kiko eyeshadows, nail polish and lipsticks are all fantastic, I also love their makeup setting spray! I made up my own eyeshadow palette a few months ago and I'm so impressed with the pigmentation, quality and how easy they are to blend. Kiko have amazing sales, I always end up treating myself!

Last weekend, I went to the Trafford Centre and after so much queueing and incredibly busy traffic, I finally arrived at the new Kiko Cosmetics store! After hoping for a Kiko store to open near me, I was so excited when this store opened on the 31st October (it's next to the Cath Kidston store in the Trafford Centre). I have been in a couple of Kiko stores in Europe, such as the one in Florence and Taormina and both of those stores were bigger than this one but it isn't small either and it's well stocked.

The store has such a fantastic and wide range of their eyeshadows and nail polishes as well as the new christmas collection including the pretty gift sets. I didn't treat myself this time, I'll wait until the christmas sale and I do have quite a long wish list of their 'cosmic starlets' christmas collection and the 'perfecting powders' collection:

Collective Clothing Haul!

I received money for christmas from my parents, family, neighbours so I went a lot crazy this year (well, very crazy actually). I have already posted a Kiko Cosmetics sale haul (link here) and I have quite a few more lined up for the past week or two so stay tuned for sale goodness! But today I have four items of clothing that I bought from Urban Outfitters, Topshop, New Look and H&M over the past two weeks. 

H&M Sale Dress (flash photographs)

Firstly, H&M. I saw this dress online and it was only in a UK size 14 which is almost double my size so I waited for it to come back in a UK size 8 and it didn't. But when I went shopping in Bury a couple of weeks ago (christmas eve I think) I saw it instore. The dress it a dark blue and it is lacy at the front and a cotton material at the back. I really like this dress although I wish it was a bit shorter - I am only 4ft 11 ish. The dress was reduced to £10 and I really like it with tights and boots. 

Urban Outfitters Jumper (Flash Photographs)

Next up is a jumper from Urban Outfitters which I adore! This jumper should have been £35 but it was reduced to £15 I think. If you own a wildfox jumper, as I do, you will know how soft and cosy a good quality jumper can be - this jumper is the same, it feels like a wildfox jumper! I love the colours, the design and the super soft fabric!

Topshop Shirt (natural lighting)

I saw this shirt when it first came out on the Topshop website and I was nearly going to buy it but I am glad that I waited as it was in the sale for only £12! I love this shirt, it should have been £29. The shirt is an off white colour with medium/light grey stripes. It looks great with skinny jeans and it would be great with a jumper over the top too, in my opinion. 

New Look Dress (artificial indoor lighting)

I bought this dress a few days ago from New Look and it was only...£6! How could I not get this dress for £6, I love it! It is a deep red polka dot dress and it is a wrap around style dress with an thin elasticated waist. The dress is a UK size 8 and it fits well, the design is gorgeous and very 50's in my opinion. I probably wouldn't wear this with leggings though, maybe no leggings or thin tights.

Kiko Clic Palette System + Infinity Eyeshadows

Kiko has been a favourite brand of mine since I discovered them about five years ago while on holiday in Taormina, Sicily - I spent over €40 on kiko makeup and I do believe that the price have gone up very slightly but the products are still inexpensive especially for the quality. I wanted to try their clic system for a while and all of the shades were on sale so I thought it was the right time to make my own palette. 

The Clic System features numerous sizes of palettes which you can choose from including singles, duos, trios, quads then the 9 pan palettes and a massive 24 pan palette - I was so tempted to get the massive palette especially as the palettes and eyeshadows were 40-52% off. I chose the 9 pan palette and obviously 9 eyeshadows for it which was about £26! 

The eyeshadows come individually packaged, they have the shade name on the box and on the back of the eyeshadow - there are two stickers on the back so you can keep one on the eyeshadow pan and then the other can be place onto the inside lid of the palette if you want. The eyeshadows are so easy to remove from their packaging and clicked into place in the palette. 

I picked all natural, neutral shades as those are the ones I use daily and I am so happy with them. The shades are mostly matte, with a few satins and shimmers and the pigmentation is just fantastic. The texture is so buttery smooth with minimal fall out; they also blend so beautifully. They crease on my deep set eyes after almost three hours (with no primer) and my skin as unusually oily the first time I tried them too. I will have to test them fully with my primers.

Here are all of the shades I bought with swatches so hopefully you can see the pigmentation and shades - as the palette is black, my camera has washed out the swatches a bit especially for the lighter shades. 

200: Pure white with micro shimmer - slightly chalky 

236: Metallic slightly bronze champagne - almost wet looking

238: Cool grey (micro shimmer isn't visible on the skin)

215: Warm chocolate brown with golden shimmer - very pigmented

240: Matte cool medium brown with purple undertones 

217: Rich warm matte medium brown - very pigmented, slight fall down

235: Matte burgundy brown 

288: Matte cool toned concrete grey 

295: Matte black - very pigmented 

My favourite shades are 200, 236, 240 and 295 which blend perfectly together. The 217 and 235 shades when swatched are quite similar but when used on the eyes, they are different. I definitely want to get the bigger palette and buy some more lighter shades. My only negative point about this palette/system is the size of the palette itself - it is quite chunky (2cm thick) and fingerprints show up very easily. Makeup Collection: Foundation

Here is part of my makeup collection - this is a series of posts about my makeup collection, what I have and my favourite products in my collection!

Here are my foundations! I will just list the ones I have and then I will go through my favourites! So I have: a mini Nars sheer glow, Jemma Kidd Pro Finish Moisture Tint, The Body Shop Moisture Foundation, Lancome Teint Miracle, Maybelline Age Rewind 'the eraser' foundation, Illamasqua Light Liquid Foundation, Benefit Hello Flawless. Then in the second drawer I have: Kiko Medium Foundation, Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect, Model co 2 in 1 foundation, Collection Cover and Go (foundation and concealer), Avon Ideal Flawless, Rimmel Lasting Finish, Kiko Anti-Age foundation. And some foundations are not in these drawers as I forgot to put them in and I sorted out these foundations later on. So the other foundations I have that are missing from the photographs include: Shu Uemura Nobara Cream Foundation and the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. I also had the Bourjois brush on foundation which I LOVE but it ran out last year, I will have to get another one!

My favourite foundations from my collection include: Illamasqua Light Liquid Foundation, Jemma Kidd Moisture Tint, Bourjois 10 Hour Sleep Effect and I also really like the Maybelline and Benefit foundations but they are too dark for my very pale skin. 


I have a few foundations that are too dark for my very pale skin and some other makeup items that I have sorted out so if you want a blog sale then just leave a comment!

January & February Favourites!

Here are my January favourites first, I know it is very late but I wanted to fit my January and February favourites together. 

1. Laura Mercier Lip Glace (Sweetheart): Firstly a gorgeous lip gloss from Laura Mercier. I am usually a lipstick kind of girl but since I bought an amazing value Laura Mercier set (£12 in the spaceNK sale, link here to my haul). The colour is gorgeous on the lips, it make my lips look fuller and smooth - it glosses over dry areas so well. Love it!

2. Simple Rich Moisturiser: I have been using this moisturiser for years, I have gone through about five bottles of this stuff - I love it although if my skin is dry then I will use another moisturiser but this is great for everyday, especially in the summer. 

3. Kiko Anti-age foundation: I received a Kiko package on Christmas eve and this was one of the things I ordered. I have been using it on and off since then, as I have been trying out other foundations but I do really like this product. I have the shade '01 peach rose' which is not my perfect shade but it is quite good. It is so smooth and silky and it applies really well. 4. Clinique Airbrush Concealer: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this concealer! I received this as it was a free gift with purchase and I adore this product. I illuminates and covers really well - although it doesn't cover my dark circles completely (nothing will do that!) but it is a fantastic concealer!

Here are my favourites for the month of February!

1. ELF Tone Correcting Concealer: I have been switching between the Clinique air brush concealer and the ELF concealer this month. I love the clinique concealer and I love this. The elf concealer has very light coverage but it is really moisturising! And the shade is a fantastic match for my paler than pale skin tone!

2. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush: I have bee using this brush for my foundations for the past four months or so I love this brush. The paddle shape allows foundation to glide on so quickly and easily and it blends so well.

3. Vichy Eau Thermale: I received this in my Birchbox this month and I have been using it ever since! I have been using this as a toner and as a setting spray. I find that if my makeup looks a bit caky or if it has emphasised some dryness, then a good spray or this onto my makeup and it really help!

4. Illamasqua Blush Brush: I love this brush, it is quite expensive at around £28 but it is worth it! It makes applying contour and bronzer so quick and easy. The bristles are very smooth and soft. It is the perfect shape, thickness and density for contouring.

5. Clinique AirBrush Concealer: Again this is in my favourite for the month of January and February I have been liking this although I do find that if you apply too much then it can look a bit caky.

6. Yves Rocher Sexy Plump Mascara: A favourite mascara of the moment and possible of all time! I love this mascara, I received the sample tube from a beauty box I think and loved it from the first time I used it. It makes my lashes look fuller, longer, black but natural. Love it, I wish they made a waterproof version though, then I could use it daily!

Makeup Collection: Primers & Concealers!

Firstly, sorry I haven't been posting really, I have been so busy with my dissertation and friends coming over! Anyway here is the second part of my makeup collection (ft Muji acrylic storage drawers). This part of my makeup collection contains my eye and face primers and my concealers (of which I have a fair few)....

Firstly, concealer - I have quite a few concealers (that's a bit of an understatement...). I have quite a few as I am on the quest to find the best concealer for my very dark circles but it has to be very pale like me and it has to be moisturising. I haven't found my perfect concealer yet but here are some of my favourites! I have concealers from Kiko, Revlon, Lierac, Vichy, Loreal, Smashbox and more.

I love the ELF Tone Correcting Concealer (shade: Ivory) as it is super moisturising and it never looks caky or dry, although it only has light coverage. I also really like the MAC Moisturecover Concealer (shade: NW15) as it is similar to the ELF concealer but it has a lot more coverage - however on my dry skin days this concealer can look a bit caky and obvious. My favourite under eye concealer right now has to be the Clinique Airbrush Concealer (shade: 04 neutral fair). I received two travel size ones (gifts with purchase) and I LOVE them! My least favourite concealers have to be the Revlon Photoready and the Kiko Skin Evolution as they are just too drying and caky on my already dry skin. I now also have the Benefit Fake Up Concealer (which I won!) which I will review fully soon!

Now onto primers! These are a mix of face and eyelid primers from Laura Mericer, Too Faced, Elf, Jemma Kidd, Smashbox, Nars, Benefit, Body Shop and Murad. My favourite face primer has to be The Body Shop Moisturise it Primer, it is great for keeping my makeup lasting throughout the day and for keeping my skin looking fresh - LOVE it! I also really like the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (I think I am going to buy the radiance version from SpaceNK soon). My least Favourite primers include: the Too Faced Shadow Insurance which doesn't work for me and the ELF eyeshadow primers are not great, in my opinion. I also have a full size Smashbox primer (that I have hardly used) which is ok. My favoruite eyeshadow primer has to be the Nars Pro-Primer Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Primer - it is the best eyeshadow primer I have tried (and everything creases on my eyes)!

February Beauty Favourites 2015

Another month, another favourites post! This month I have discovered some amazing new products that I have kindly been sent, products I've bought myself and some re-discoveries. My February favourites are a mixture of makeup, tools, skincare, body care and deodorants. 

Makeup: First up, an unusual product, the Smashbox Primer Water which I have been testing for a few weeks. It is the only primer that has ever wowed me! It you have dry, combination or dull skin then you definitely need to give this primer/setting spray a try. Another makeup favourite is my new Kiko Cosmetics Clic Eyeshadow Palette which I made myself and the palette and shadows were all on sale! Kiko eyeshadows are so pigmented, smooth and easy to blend with minimal fall down. I will have a full review of the palette on my blog soon. My final makeup favourite is a re-discovery, the Loreal Brow Artist Pencil which I already have in a lighter/warmer shade but I received the Dark Brunette shade in February's My Little Box and I LOVE it. 

Beauty tools: Now onto beauty tools, two of which are from one of my favourite brow brands, Tweezerman. The Tweezerman Eyelash Curlers are in my opinion, so much better than the Shu Uemura ones that I have. The Tweezerman Curler fits my eye shape so well, reaching all of the lashes from the inner to the outer corner easily without pinching the skin - amazing! I've also been loving the Tweezerman Tweezers which I've been a fan of for years, they are just so effective. The last beauty tool favourite is the Crown Brushes SS021 which is perfect for blending eyeshadow or concealer - I just wish the numbers were printed into the handles!

Body + Skincare: I have two body care product favourites this month, the first is a re-discovery, the Thea Super Nourish Body Butter which is so moisturising but it doesn't irritate my skin at all and it absorbs very quickly - I definitely want to try more of their body products. The second body product is rather expensive, it is the La Vanilla Vanilla Lemon Deodorant which is £10...yes, and I have bought another since! They are all natural, they smell incredible and they don't contain aluminium which is the main reason I wanted to switch to natural deodorants. As they are an American product they are expensive and until now they haven't been available at all in the UK - they are sold on Net-A-Porter. 

Onto skincare, a new product I have been testing out is the Antipodes Hosanna Serum which I have completely fallen in love with; it is so hydrating and plumping! Full review, here. My penultimate favourite is the Elemental Herbology Cell Plumping Hydrator SPF8 which I have had in my skincare drawer for a while but I have only just started using it - it leaves my skin hydrated and so glowing! Last but not least a new mask, the Aromatherapy Associates Hydrating Rose Face Mask which is only a magazine sample but I have managed to get five full uses out of it. It is so hydrating, my skin drinks this mask up so quickly and it doesn't irritate my skin. 

I also have a couple of honourable mentions such as the Yes! Nurse Hand Cream which I am still loving along with the FAME Vanilla and Coffee scrub - I'm using it so much, it is wearing down quite quickly. There are all of my favourites and honourable mentions for February!

Christmas: Women's Gift Guide

It's finally December! I can't wait for christmas so to carry on the festive cheer, I have my third christmas gift guide and this one is all about gifts for her - whether that is your mum, wife, sister, aunties or friends. I was very kindly sent the products featured by brands that I know and love as well as a few new products. So grab a cup of tea, this post is a long one!

*Crabtree and Evelyn Country Florals Hand Therapy Trio Tin (£12.50, worth £15): Crabtree and Evelyn have such amazing christmas sets, I included some of their products in my mens gift guide. Their hand creams are one of their more famous and poplar products and these scent sound gorgeous. I think this set would be great for mums, aunties and grandmas, although I'd love it too as you can never have too much hand cream!

*Bluffers Chocolate Guide Book (£6.99): I have also already featured the Bluffers guides in my mens gift guide and my stocking fillers posts as I think they are fantastic gifts that are so reasonably priced and there is a topic for everyone.

*Wild Olive Luxury Spa Tuberose & Jasmine Set (£16.95): I have tried Wild Olive products previously and I love their candles! This set contains bath salts, soap and a candle so it would be perfect for anyone who needs a pamper. All of their product are handmade in England and they use natural ingredients. The Tuberose and Jasmine set smells amazing and it is packaged to beautifully.

*Botanicals Beautiful Hands Anti-Ageing Serum (£13.95): Again, another brand that I have tried and that I love. I have tried so many hand creams but this is the first hand serum; it is such a hydrating oil and the I love the pipette dispenser. It would make a lovely stocking filler or part of a pamper hamper and as with the Wild Olive brand, everything is natural and cruelty free. You can get the hand serum in the lovely Hand & Feet Christmas Pamper Box which would be a perfect gift.

*Gemporia Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace (£27, worth £67.99): I don't wear that much jewellery but I do love necklaces and this one is gorgeous. It is simple and understated as well as being very reasonably priced but it is sparkle, elegant and it is perfect with formal and causal outfits. It sits well, it feels comfortable to wear and I think mums, sisters and friends would love it!

*Yves Rocher Sumptuous Colour Eyeshadow Quad (£13.50, sale): If you have been following my blog for a while then you will know how much I love Yves Rocher products, from the fragrance and haircare to bodycare and makeup. I chose the quad in 06 Brun Incandescent which is a lovely everyday quad - you can see swatches and a close up in the video below.

*Yves Rocher Apple Delight EDT (£5, 20ml): One thing that I always notice with Yves Rocher products is how cheap they are and there are always offers on! This fragrance is part of their new  range and it smells heavenly; to me it smells like a toffee apple scent with musky perfume notes. It would make a fantastic stocking filler, as would their shower gels.

*Bloom and Wild Flowers: As well as candles, there is nothing more welcoming and homely than flowers; they make such a difference to a room and let's be honest, who doesn't love to receive flowers. The flowers came so beautifully packaged and the box can fit through a letterbox so you don't have to worry about being in. I think the three months of flower set (£50) would be perfect for mums or grandmas as they will receive three gorgeous bouquets so it's the gift that keeps on giving!

*BKR Glass Water Bottle (£25, 500ml): I think this unique and adorable glass and silicone water bottle would make a great gift for gym goers! It comes in a range of colours and I have the adorably named 'cupcake' shade. The bottle is is BPA free which is fantastic, it will fit in most cup holders and in my case it will be perfect on my desk or on the go as it is 500ml so I know exactly how much I'm drinking and it will make me drink more as it's so cute!

*Let It Snow Tee (£10): I love christmas jumpers, but they aren't for everyone so this cute christmas tee would be a great festive gift. I would personally wear it as a longline pyjama top and it is so adorable and it is also well priced in my opinion.

Kiko Cosmetics: This gorgeous palette from their new christmas range is in place of all the Kiko products I've tried as I think they are fantastic, from the nail polish and eyeshadows to lipsticks and gift sets - they would make fantastic and great value gifts for any makeup lover.

Spectrum Brushes: I am a makeup brush hoarder, I have so many and I think these from Spectrum are the most adorable brushes I own and they are amazing quality as well as being cruelty free! I luckily won a couple of sets this year and I was kindly sent a brush too and I have been using them non-stop!

Now onto the video, as with the others, it isn't the best quality because of the damn english weather and lack of natural light but I hope it isn't too bad! I've included some extra gift ideas in the video from Arran Aromatics, Molton Brown, Rifle Paper Co, Roger and Gallet, Breo and Boots.

September & October Favorites!

Today is a bit of an unusual post as it is a september and october favourites post - and a cheeky August favourites at the end too as firstly, I have been busy and a bit lazy because of university and secondly, I have been using a lot of the same products for the past three months! For example, I have been using the same foundation (almost constantly) for the past three months and the same mascara, foundation brush, moisturiser and eyeshadow quad!

Firstly, base products; I have been loving the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush (£9.99) for the past three or so months - I took this brush on holiday with me in August too. I love the brush because it is incredibly smooth and soft on the skin and it applies/blends the majority of my foundations like a dream! The foundation that I have been using the most over the past three months has been my Illamasqua Light Liquid Foundation; I bought this foundation in the Illamasqua sale back in July for only £10. I wear the shade LF120 which is a fantastic match for my skin as I am really quite pale at the moment. I took this foundation with me on holiday too back in August and it worked well, although I had to set it with a fair amount of powder to stop it from running off my face! The foundation has light coverage, it makes my skin tone more even and it has a gorgeous finish - it makes my skin look luminous and 'lit from within' but it doesn't make my skin look dewy or greasy! 

Now onto some skincare (and haircare) favourites of mine for the past three months. Firstly, Nuxe Reve De Miel Stick Lip balm (£5.50). During the month of August I was using my Caudalie lip balm then in September I ran out of the Caudalie balm and I started using my Nuxe lip balm - and I have to say it is not as good as the Caudalie version. I like the Nuxe lip balm, it is one of my favourites, but the caudalie balm is richer and more hydrating. A new favourite product which I received at the beginning of October is a lip balm from Rodial - Rodial Glam Balm Lip which is a sample size that I received as part of a kit. This lip balm is just gorgeous and so intensive; I only use it at night because it is a small sample and I don't want to got through it so quickly as the full size is priced at £19! The lip balm is great as a kind of night treatment for my lips and in the morning my lips will be incredibly smooth and soft - ready for lipstick and liner! 

The second favourite skincare product is the Mama Mio Mighty Moisture Moisturiser which is a 15ml sample I received (using a code during August) with a feelunique order. I took this on holiday with me in August and I have been using it on and off ever since! This moisturiser is smooth, rich and it leaves my skin feeling very smooth, soft and hydrated - it doesn't irritate my skin either, even though it does smell of lavender. I have nearly finished this moisturiser and I am considering buying the full size although it is very expensive, I will have to seen if it is on offer anywhere.

Two of the final favourites are from the month of October and include my Lancome Cleansing fluid (£34, 400ml) which is just incredible! The cleansing fluid smells heavily of mens aftershave/cologne but it doesn't irritate my skin at all! In fact when I have a tiny outbreak of eczema I use this and the next day the eczema is so much better (although this works only with my very minor eczema breakouts). So I am very surprised with the results from the Lancome cleansing milk and when this bottle is finished I WILL have to buy another! 

My last favourite product is from my September Jolie Box and it is...Twistbands! Twistbands are hair bands/hair ties/bobbles and they are supposed to be gentle on the hair and not create a kink in the hair. I have been using mine only while in the house as I wouldn't wear those colours outside! With my hair the twistbands actually stay in really well (in a pony or a bun) and they do feel really gentle on my hair - but they don't stay in all day and they can create a kink/line in my hair. 

....and a very late August favourites which may be useful to those of you lucky enough to be somewhere warm now - unlike England where it is freezing and raining with the possibility of snow!

The products that I was using on holiday and through out the month of august have been almost the same as the products that I have been using for the months of September and October - expect the Caudalie body lotion (empty), the Kiko highlighter (£5.20, sale) and the Tweezerman brow mousse (empty). Although the majority of the products have been the same for the past three months but while on holiday I did have to set my Illamasqua Light Liquid foundation with a good amount of powder otherwise it would look really shiny. The Soap and Glory quad in the shade 'Whats nude' has been a favourite product of mine since I bought it early last year!

Makeup Collection: It's all about lips!

Here is the fourth part of my makeup collection (there are two or three more parts to go, don't worry we will get there in the end)! This part features everything to do with lips!

Firstly, Gloss and Liner: I have quite a few lip liners/lip pencils and a few lip glosses too. Now I am a lipstick kind of girl, I don't wear gloss that often (most of these glosses were free or part of gift sets) but I do like them from time to time. For example, if my lips are really dry and I want to wear a lip colour, I find that even the most hydrating lipsticks and lip liner are far too drying so I like to wear glosses. My favourite lip gloss is definitely the Laura Mericer Lip Glace in the shade 'sweetheart' - I received this as part of a sale gift set for only £12 and I adore it (link to haul here)! I don't like all of them, for example, I hate the Collection soft matte lip creme things - I only have one and I really hate it! On to liners, I love the Kiko lip liners (the ones with the lip brush on one end)! I also keep lip stains in this draw too and I love the Revlon just bitten balm stains and the loreal glam shine splash thing, in the shade 'lolita' - seriously, what is the actual name for this product?!

Lipstick #1: These are my cheap/high street/drug store lipsticks that I use most of the time. I have lipsticks from: Yves rocher, Rimmel, Revlon, Duwop, Avon, Body Shop, ELF and so on. My favourite long lasting cheap lipstick is probably the Avon Extra Lasting Lipsticks (I have three - reviews of them can be found here, here and here)! I also love the Rimmel Colour Show Off Lipsticks! 

Lipsticks #2: Now these are my more expensive or limited edition lipsticks. I have lipsticks from Loccitane, Shu Uemura, MAC, Estee Lauder, Lipstick Queen, Burberry, Lancome and By Terry. I love the By terry lipstick in the shade 'tough cookie' and my L'Occitane lipstick in the shade 'pivione delicate'.
