Summer Handbag Wish List

Summer Handbag Wish List
It's now officially summer *how that happened I have no idea!* so I always feel the need to add some colour to my wardrobe! I'm not usually a fan of colour unless you count greys, navy, black and white as colourful but one way in which I think I can easily add colour is through accessories and bags. Here's my summer bag wish list:

DKNY Tote (£102.50, SALE)  -  Lulu Guinness Light Blue Cross Body Bag (£147.50, SALE)  -  Radley Tote (£10)  -  Michael Kors Bag (£220)  -  Ted Baker Pink Bag (£54.50, SALE)

House of Fraser are currently having their The Big Brand sale so they have so many discounts on a range of products from designer handbags *drools*, dresses and home items to shoes, accessories and makeup. The sale is up to 50% off but there are now further reductions and it is taking pretty much ALL of my willpower not to make an order as learning to drive is SO expensive *cries* and that sadly has to come first - I don't want to be an adult anymore! This is a sponsored post.

What do you think of my wish list? Have you bought anything from the House of Fraser sale?

Spring/Summer Handbag Wish List
Spring is here and that means I want to change up everything and spend a little too much money on new clothes, books, makeup and accessories, you know because you have to when the seasons change, right? This is a sponsored post.

Ollie & Nic Gina Tan Satchel  -  DKNY Light Pink Cross Body Bag  -  Ted Baker Trelcon Bowcon White Floral Tote  -  Accessorize Rose Gold Leather Panel Shopper  -  Accessorize Cassidy Bag  -  Radley Clerkenwell Grey Cross Body Bag

Oh that DKNY bag *swoon*, I am a sucker for blush shades and light greys for spring/summer...who am I kidding, I mean all year round! Also the Ted Baker tote is so cute, I think it is a new print/design for spring. House of Fraser have such a wide range of womens handbags, I could spend all day browsing the handbag section alone!

Are any of these bags on your wish list?

March Beauty Favourites

March Beauty Favourites
How is it April, where is this year going?! *Cue every blogger in the world saying the same thing*. It's the end of another month which means that it is time to do my monthly favourites and this month has a mixture of high-end makeup, high-end bodycare, skincare, nail polish and a much coveted palette.

Makeup
March has been an fantastic month as I've been lucky enough to receive some amazing blog packages from the lovely people at House of Fraser. I have three makeup favourites and they are all high end, sorry! First up we have the gorgeous Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette which I have wanted for years and now that I have it, I've been using it pretty much every time I wear makeup. Another two products I cannot stop using are both from Giorgio Armani. Until I received these products I hadn't really tried anything from Giorgio Armani and now I know that I have been missing out. The Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Primer is one of the best primers I've ever tried and the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is one of the best foundations I've ever tried - highly recommend!

Skincare, Bodycare & Nails
Let's start with the nail polish favourite, I haven't really been wearing nail polish for months but the Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in Hyde Park Place is too pretty and chic. I love grey nails all year round and this shade is just perfect. The one skincare product I've loved over all others I've tried in March is the new Green People Scent Free Hydrating Serum which is perfect for my sensitive and dry skin - it has been a constant in my current skincare routine and I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you do have sensitive skin. Last but not least is another staple, the Molton Brown Ylang Ylang Body Lotion. I received this lotion last year and I instantly fell in love with it, not just because it is so effective but it smells heavenly too - I keep it on my desk and use it as a hand cream. I need to try more Molton Brown products!

What products have you been loving throughout March?

Viktor + Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume

Viktor + Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume
If I'm going to splash out on a product then it's going to be perfume; I have a slight perfume...problem. I just can't say no to pretty perfumes in pretty bottles and around this time of the year, fragrance gift sets call my name and are eventually added to my perfume collection. One that I've wanted to try for so long is *Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb (£69, 50ml) and it has to win the prize for the most beautiful perfume bottle ever!
Top notes: Tea & Bergamot
Heart notes: Jasmine, Orchid, Freesia & Rose
Base notes: Patchouli
I love all of the notes which is unusual for me as although there are a lot of fragrances that I love, there is usually a note or two that I don't like but this one ticks all of the boxes for me. The perfume starts as a gorgeous, musky floral and I know that sounds generic but it is far from it and it then develops into a beautiful concoction of deep rich patchouli and sweet and slightly powdery florals. It is a fragrance unlike anything else I have tried and it would be a perfect warming and rich but still feminine fragrance for winter; I can't think of anyone who wouldn't like this perfume. Some fragrances can contain a list of notes that is longer than your arm but this one with its relatively minuscule amount of notes, manages to be a complex and memorable fragrance. The longevity is also fantastic as it easily lasts all day on me. I think if I had to sum up the fragrance in three words, they would be: unusual, sexy and rich.

Overall, this is definitely one of the most unique and beautiful fragrances I've tried for quite a while and just look at the bottle *ok, I'm going to stop now*. The fragrance is available from House of Fraser and they currently have 10% off all of the Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb variations as well as two free samples if you purchase any Viktor and Rolf fragrance. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5!

Have you tried any of the Viktor and Rolf fragrance?

House of Fraser Autumn/Winter Handbags

House of Fraser Autumn/Winter Handbags
House of Fraser is one of my favourite places to shop, not just because of the great homeware and decor, sales and beauty products but also because of their amazing selection of handbags - there are so many to choose from! The brands range of the much coveted Michael Kors and Ted Baker to Fiorelli, Dorothy Perkins, Oasis, Aldo, Warehouse and many many more.

As it is now autumn, which is my favourite season, I want to buy a whole new wardrobe including more tan, olive and burgundy shades as well as faux leather and faux fur. There are so many bags which fit autumn/winter trends on the House of Fraser website. I was kindly allowed to choose one and I picked the *Warehouse Relaxed Crossbody Bag (£28) which is very different to all of the other bags I own.

I love the shape, it is more elongated than the other square and satchel style bags I own but even though it isn't the widest or largest bag, it can actually fit quite a lot in it and I always need to carry around so many 'just in case' products...that I never end up using! It fits my small umbrella, purse, iPad mini, iPhone/iPod and more which are my daily essentials. Additionally, it has a small internal pocket and a larger zipped pocket on the outside as well as an adjustable strap which I always need as I am so petite!

Also the shade is perfect as it goes with so many outfits, particularly during autumn/winter. I've been pairing it casually with my vintage wash Topshop jeans, Asos chunky jumper and ankle boots. It would be great with dress, tights and ankle boots over the upcoming colder months.

Overall, I think I will get so much use out of this versatile Warehouse bag over the autumn/winter months. However, there are so many other gorgeous bags at House of Fraser under £50. Here are my picks:
