Stocking Fillers ft. Bilou

Sunday, November 19, 2017
As a child, I loved bath time as it meant that I could use my Mister Matey bubble bath (any other 90's kids remember it?) and foamy shower gels! Obviously I don't want to use products like that anymore even if they are cute and nostalgic but Bilou has the answer!

Bilou is a German brand that has recently launched in the UK and their products are available in Superdrug stores and online. Bilou products are 100% vegan and contain high quality ingredients such as almond and avocado oil, aloe vera, sweet almond oil and more to ensure their products are nourishing and gentle on the skin.
A while ago I was very kindly sent a huge bag filled with a tonne of their products *thank you* including the body sprays, shower foams and cream foams, all of which I've tried and I love them! They have a great range of scents and I received the fizzy berry, coco cocktail, pink melon, cotton candy and tasty donut scents.

*Bilou Easy Donut Creamy Shower Foam (£3.99, 200ml)
My favourite scent is a tie between the Tasty Donut and Cotton Candy scents, both of which are super sweet and almost edible smelling (don't eat them even if you want to). The shower foams are super creamy and they don't dry out my skin which some shower products can do. I love the foam texture, it feels quite nourishing/moisturising and I love the scent.

I also have the Pink Melon, Coco Cocktail and Fizzy Berry scents, all of which I like with the Coco Cocktail being one of my favourites and the Pink Melon scent is sadly my least favourite of the four I have tried. None of the scents irritated my skin at all which is fantastic.
*Bilou Cotton Candy Gentle Cream Foam (£3.99, 150ml)
As much as I love the shower foams *all of them!*, the product that intrigued me the most was the gentle cream foams which are foam body lotions...I haven't come across anything like this before. It comes out like the shower foams which is such a unique texture and consistency for a body lotion but even though it's so light and airy, it is still nourishing and moisturising - I've been mainly using it as a hand cream while at my desk because it absorbs so quickly. I also have the Fizzy Berry scent as well which I really like as it's so fresh, fruity and uplifting but my favourite has to be the Tasty Donut  and Cotton Candy scents, obviously!

*Bilou 2 in 1 Bodyspray (£3.99, 150ml)
Last but not least, the body sprays which I have in the Fizzy Berry and Coco Cocktail scents. I love the scent of the fizzy berry body spray as it's so sweet, fruity and nostalgic but I think I prefer the Coco Cocktail scent a little more as it just reminds me of the Bounty chocolate bars! Both sprays are quite fine so you aren't going to become drenched in body spray and they last longer than I thought they would on the skin. They aren't my favourite products I was kindly sent but I think children and teens would love them, I wish I had these products growing up instead of the awful Impulse body sprays!

Overall, I cannot recommend these products enough as not only is the packaging just gorgeous but the price is fantastic and both the shower foams and gentle cream foams are wonderful everyday products. I'd definitely gift the shower foams and lotions to friends as stocking fillers but I think the body sprays are for a slightly younger gift recipient - they would make ideal stocking fillers for teens, young adults, friends and vegans too.

Have you tried any products from Bilou?
