Green People is a brand that I have tried a few things from and I have loved literally every single product! I have some of their sensitive skincare which I have already reviewed on my blog so you can check it out if you want and I was recently sent some of their sun care products to test out and they came just in time for a glorious couple of sunny weekends we've had in Manchester recently! The sun isn't something you usually see in Manchester but when you do, it's gorgeous and so hot as it has been recently. I rarely use SPF, even on holiday, which is awful I know but I find sun creams can be so heavy and greasy on my skin so I'm put off using them. However, I received the *
Green People Scent Free Sun Lotion SPF30 (£21, 200ml) which I actually really like! It is non-irritating so it's perfect for sensitive skin as all of the products from Green People are; it's also water resistant and 78% of the ingredients used are organic.
The sun lotion looks and feels like most others but it does absorb quite quickly and doesn't leave a heavy or greasy feeling residue on the skin. It doesn't irritate my skin and I have been using it almost constantly for the past few weekends earlier in the month when we had a heatwave - obviously it isn't sunny or hot now! Overall rating: ★★★★☆, 4/5.
I also received the *Green People Soft Lips Lip Balm SPF8 (£5.50, 10ml) which comes in a super handy squeezy tube so it is perfect for travelling or keeping in your handbag, the latter is what I have been doing. My lips can be quite dry most of the time so a lip balm is essential but I don't have one that has SPF so I'm glad I have this one. It is a fairly glossy which is something I don't like but it is moisturising and smoothing. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5!
