November Wish List

Tuesday, November 19, 2013
Here are a few of the items I have been lusting over the past week or two from stores such as Miss guided, Topshop, Beauty Expert, Asos and Accessorize.
Images from the stores websites
1. Topshop Linen Mix Stripe Tee (£20): These two tops from Topshop have been on my mind for weeks! I adore stripy tops, I have more than a few of them and these look gorgeous. I have seen them on a couple of blogs which naturally made me want them even more. They are currently sold out in my size but hopefully by the time this post is up, I will have one...or both of them!

2. Aesop Purifying Cream Cleanser (£25): I have been keeping this skincare brand noted down since Vivianna loves makeup started talking about the parsley seed ranges ages ago. Then I read a blog post review of this cleanser and I was sold. Sadly I can't remember the blog. The cleanser sounded great for my dry, sensitive skin and it is at the top of my wish list.

3. Asos Chelsea Boots (£42): If you have been reading my blog for a while you will know that I am pretty tiny at just under 5 ft and my feet are tiny too at about a UK size 1-2 so it is difficult for me to find shoes. I saw these boots on Asos while looking at boots for my sister and they are in a size 2....hallelujah! I need them now and asos have quite a lot of boots/shoes in a UK 2, they will be mine!

4. Acessorize Hoxton Satchel (£25): I love bags, especially satchels and I have been looking at this one and one from Zara for ages and I can't decide. I love the rustic, school type satchel from Accessorize and it is a fantastic price too, in my opinion.

5. Miss Guided Velvet Skater Dress in Deep Green (£19.99): Everything in this gorgeous deep green from Miss Guided is gorgeous, love the shade and this dress. I am in love with the colour and style, everything about this dress is heaven for me! I recently about the t-shirt skater from in deep green from Miss Guided and it is lovely and super cheap at £7.49.

6. Topshop Angora Cable Jumper, camel (£46): Burgundy, deep green, charcoal and mustard/camel colours are the shades I go for in the autumn/winter. The colour of this jumper is divine, love it and the cable knit design too.

Autumn/Winter Wish List

Tuesday, October 01, 2013
Here is my autumn/winter wish list (one of many) and I have included some haircare, makeup, clothing, skincare and accessories in this post. I have bought the coat from this post and sadly it had to go back but it looks gorgeous.
1. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (£20): I have wanted this palette since it launched, last year I think, and it is just divine! It has all but one matte shades and the packaging is size is just perfect. I have a 20% off code for Hqhair so I may get it - code: ticktock

2. Newlook Duffle Coat (£34.99): I actually bought this coat a couple of weeks ago because I loved it online so much but when it arrived it was a much dark taupe colour and the shoulders were really big and pronounced which I don't like on me but it is a really nice coat, sadly it has to go back.

3. Babylis Perfect Curl (£180): I saw this on youtube as a tutorial/demo video and from them on all I can think about is this curler! It is such a strange and new concept for curling your hair - you need to go to youtube to see a demo of this curler - it will blow your mind!

4. REN Hydracalm Cleansing Gel (£18): I bought this cleanser a while ago and I used it all up and I definitely want to repurchase it. My skin has been acting up a bit lately and this didn't irritate my skin when I had it last year so I want it again - and I just love the brand and packaging.

5. Zara Bowling bag with zips (£29.99): I need a moments silence for this bag..........how freakin' gorgeous is this bag! I need this bag, even more than I needed the office city bag. I love the colour and the shape, it looks perfect.....

6. Pretty Small Shoes Easy Rider Calf Boots (£199): I have really tiny feet (UK size 1 and 2) so it is difficult for me to find shoes/boots/heels that fit and that don't look like childrens/teen shoes. I saw these boots and immediately fell in love! I have bought from this site before and the service was really food.

Clothing Calculator # 7

Saturday, August 03, 2013
Here is the seventh clothing calculator post and if you are not familiar with this on going series on my blog then it is just an outfit that I have created myself from pieces from online stores that I like - showing you what is in stock or on sale now and how I would style the items.
1. Riverisland Red Tile Print Jogger Trousers (£30): I am getting into print trousers recently, they look so chic and modern. I love the print of these trousers and if they do on sale I will have to buy them. I think these trousers with the heels, cami and clutch makes a gorgeously chic summer evening outfit.

2. Riverisland Basic Black Cami (£10): These strappy basic chiffon camis are everywhere now! Primark and Topshop have similar versions and they are not for me personally because I don't really like to show my upper arms but they do look gorgeous!

3. Pretty Small Shoes Serverlan Black Patent Sandals (£55, sale): I love the heels on this website, it is a site specially for women with smaller than average feet like me! These heels look so chic, sophisticated and I love them.

4. Topshop Floral Laser Cut Clutch (£28): I love the design of this unique and pretty clutch. The clutch goes really well with the other black, modern items in this outfit, in my opinion. The clutch looks well made, edgy but feminine and a good size.

5. Maybelline Baby Lips, Cherry (£2.99): I have already bought two of these coveted lip balms! I bought the cherry one, as shown above, and the pink one. They are basically tinted lips balms but they have so much hype around them and they are now available in the UK - in Boots and Superdrug.

Clothing Calculator #1

Monday, April 22, 2013
Here is a new series on my blog called 'clothing calculator' - let me explain. Once a week I will create a couple of outfits with clothing items that I love and want that are new in stores/online. I think it is a good way of seeing what is new in stores/online and I get to have a change from beauty posts and experiment with styling! I'm not sure about the title of these posts yet but I think clothing calculator is quite good as I will add all of the clothing info such as pricing in the post.
1. Blue Aztec Collarless Jacket from Newlook: This is part of their new stock - I saw this jacket and immediately fell in love with it! I love the colour, design, cut...everything about it. And even though it is spring in England, it is still chilly so a jacket is always needed. £29.99.

2. Sexy High Waist Skinny Jeans from Next: I have had Next jeans since I was about 14, I really like them. I thought these high waisted dark denim jeans would look great with the dark blues in the jacket making a slightly formal structued jacket more casual. £28.

3. Essential Camisole Top from Matalan: You can't go wrong with a basic white cammi can you? I always have camis in different colours to layer with other tops or jumpers. And if you have a printed or statement jacket a plain top stops the print from looking too much. £3.

4. Topshop Lipstick in the shade 'The Damned': I saw this shade and I was like 'your mine'! I really want this shade it looks gorgeous although I will have to work my way up to get this as it is quite...bold! I love the combination of a denim palette and a slightly formal look with a bright pop of colour on the lips. £8.

5. Pretty Small Shoes 'Poppy' Heels: I have wanted these heels for a month or so and I will have to get them. I have super tiny feet as I am only 4ft 9 and these shoes are made for women with small feet - and they look gorge! £65.

Hope you like this new type of post! If you have any blog posts you would like to see, just leave a comment below! x

Snow Day & New Boohoo Dress!

Tuesday, February 05, 2013
This morning I awoke to a thin blanket of snow! I love the look of snow when it is on the ground and when it is falling but it is a pain to travel in but thankfully I have a few days off from uni anyway to do some work (coughs). So I thought I would take some pictures of my new dress (it arrived today) from Boohoo!

Here is the dress that I bought! It is the Heidi Slub Marl Skater Dress in the colour 'Charcoal' and I bought a UK size 8 which fits really well. This dress was £15.99 with VAT which I think is a really good price. I have wanted a plain, short, dark grey skater dress for a while and finally I have found it!
The dress is a really smooth, soft comfy material and it feels really nice and cosy. The dress isn't very thick so I was freezing when these photographs were being taken - and it was snowing while the pictures were being taken! The dress is dark grey but it is speckled, so it has flecks of creamy white in the material which I love!
I added a belt with the dress even though it is fitted and cinched in around the waist. The belt is from New Look (ages ago) and the tights are really thick and soft and I think they were from Primark (again, ages ago). The black heels are from pretty-small-shoes.com which specialise in small women's shoes so UK size 1-3. I love the heels they are so cute and comfy!
