Fiorelli Rose Gold & Swarovski Necklace

Saturday, May 02, 2015
If you know me at all, you will know that I love rose gold *as does every blogger - rose gold is such blogger cliche*. I have quite a few rose gold pieces but I don't have anything quite like this. I was kindly sent this item from Jewel Street which is an online store that stocks so many jewellery brands, from large well known brands to smaller niche brands as well as mens and childrens jewellery.

I have the *Fiorelli Rose Gold Plate and Swarovski Ring Drop Necklace (£30) which is part of their more affordable costume jewellery line. The necklace came in a cute drawstring Fiorelli branded pouch. The necklace is composed of base metals and swarovski crystals.

I personally love the design of this necklace, it is quite unique and I love the combination of the rose gold and swarovski crystals; it's such a beautiful, classic combination. It is light weight and comfortable to wear. I also love where the chain attaches to the circle as it makes the necklace look almost like a spinning necklace. I've been wearing the necklace with plain sweaters, skinny jeans and boots although it wouldn't be out of place with a white dress and sandals either for summer.

Overall, I love the design of the necklace, it goes with so many outfits (causal or formal) and I love the cute pouch it comes in which would be great to store jewellery in while travelling or on the go. I have quite a few items from Jewel Street on my wish list:

Have you bought anything from Jewel Street? Have you bought anything from Fiorelli?

Give The Gift Of Sparkle With Debenhams

Thursday, December 18, 2014
If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that I have a slight obsession with rose gold, I'm a magpie for it, especially at this time of the year as sparkle is kind of essential! Most rose gold jewellery is quite expensive or hard to find but Debenhams have a great range of gorgeous expensive rose gold rings to beautiful but very affordable rose gold earrings, necklaces and bracelets (here).

I have the *Debenhams No.1 Jenny Packham Designer Rose Gold Faceted Gem Cluster Necklace (£22) which is a beautiful necklace with a rose gold chain and structure but it also has silver gems which compliment the rose gold beautifully. I love the colour combination, they both catch the light so nicely and it doesn't look cheap or tacky in my opinion - the photos do not do this necklace justice! The chain is a great length for me personally but it may be a little short on others; the chain can be made longer than I have it shown on the photos above. The necklace is comfortable and easy to wear, which is a great positive point for me as I usually find necklaces to be too heavy or annoying to wear. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5!

I also have the matching earrings, the *Debenhams No.1 Jenny Packham Designer Rose Gold Designer Faceted Gem Cluster Stud Earrings (£15) which match the necklace perfectly. The design is just as beautiful and they look equally as expensive and pretty but simple and elegant. I like the combination on the necklace and earrings together although they are gorgeous individually as well. I have been wearing both items to add a bit of sparkle to chunky sweaters but they would be perfect paired with a glitzy dress for the party season. My only negative point is that the earrings are a bit big for me personally as I have tiny ears! Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

Overall, I am so impressed with both items! They look expensive, they are comfortable and easy to wear and the price is fantastic, in my opinion. Both the necklace and earrings would be gorgeous paired with a white dress or with a casual outfit; there are so many ways to wear rose gold. I think both items, individually or together, would make fantastic christmas gifts for a special someone without breaking the bank.

Debenhams last UK order dates for christmas deliveries: 20th December if you order by 7PM or the 23rd December by 7PM if you order using next day delivery - for full details, click here. Also you could brave the crowds are check out the items in stores.

What do you think of the necklace/earrings? Have you bought any jewellery as gifts from Debenhams?

Review: Alexi Accessories Circle Necklace

Tuesday, October 07, 2014
Back in august I became an Alexi Accessories affiliate, you may have noticed the button on my blog sidebar. I was kindly allowed to pick an item to review and as I have a little...massive obsession with rose gold, I had to pick a gorgeous rose gold necklace! For more information about Alexi Accessories, click here

I have the *Alexi Accessories Hollow Circle Rose Gold Necklace (£46.50) which is made of sterling silver with a 24 carat rose gold vermeil plating and micro set cubic zirconia. The necklace came gorgeously packages in a gift box with a ribbon, it would make a pretty Christmas present (yes, I used the C word in October!).

I love the little details such as the beautiful contrast in colour between the stones and the rose gold circle and chain; also the tag on the chain has Alexi embossed on it which looks so cute. I love the hollow circle design, it is unique and feminine as well as being simple and elegant. I have been wearing it casually with skater dresses or skinny jeans, jumpers and boots. It adds a understated sparkle to casual outfits. It would also work well with formal dresses. The necklace is light weight, comfortable and it feels well made and durable despite the fairly delicate chain/design. My rating: ★, 5/5!

Overall, I love this rose gold necklace from Alexi Accessories, I have been wearing so much! The design is unique and timeless and would suit many ages/styles in my opinion. They make equally as pretty silver and gold jewellery. Alexi Accessories have a large range of stunning rose gold jewellery, I have quite a few pieces on my Christmas wish list such as the maxi solitaire stud earrings and maxi solitaire ring!

Have you bought anything from Alexi Accessories? What do you think of this necklace?

Spring Fashion Wish List

Tuesday, April 08, 2014
I have already posted my spring beauty wish list, click here to check it out and I also have a home ware wish list which will be posted soon. This post is all about the items I am lusting over for spring, ft. Joules, Newlook, Dorothy Perkins, Anna Lou of London, Amazon, Warehouse and Atterley Road. This is not a sponsored post. My wish list definitely has a french theme!

1. Joules Creme Stripe Nautical Jumper (£69.95): I didn't think I would fall in love with a jumper but it has happened! How gorgeous and chic is this jumper, I adore it and I need it in my life. I love the breton stripes and the tiny slit at the hem, cute attention to detail.

2.  Anna Lou of London Engraved Anchor necklace (£67.50): I love the look of rose gold jewellery but I don't own any - that needs to change! How cute is this anchor necklace - you can get it engraved, I think I would get 'sailing' engraved onto it.

3. Paris Street Style: A Guide to Effortless Chic Book (£10.87): This is a bit of a cheat addition to my fashion wish list but work with me - I have had this book on my Amazon wish list for months and months, I adore french style (hair, beauty and fashion) so I think this book would be perfect. It has a lot of good reviews and apparently it is full of gorgeous inspirational photographs. oh là là!

4. Newlook Monochrome It's a Paris Thing T-Shirt (£12.99): Anything stripy I will buy, it's becoming a slight problem....how cute is this tee! It would look great with ballet flats, a black blazer and the Nica bag above. Great for casual day, well most of my days are casual!

5. Warehouse Paper Lace Print Scarf (£20): As well as my addiction to jackets, coats, jumpers and stripes, I also love snoods and scarves. I think scarves can make such a difference to an outfit. I think this one would be gorgeous with a white tee, jeans and a black trilby.

6. Dorothy Perkins Nica Brown Lulu Shopper Bag (Sale, £44): I was so tempted to buy this bag with my dorothy perkins voucher that I won but I managed to get a lot of other items instead (haul coming soon). However it is a lovely bag, I am a bit of a bag lady but I could definitely find room for more! I had a Nica bag a few years ago and it was fantastic.

7. Atterley Road Maison Scotch Tuxedo Blazer (Sale, £79): Now that may be a little steep but it should have been £180 so it is a bargain really. The image above doesn't do the blazer justice, check out the link to see the model wearing this blazer and you will fall in love with it as I did. So chic, french and heavenly!

There is my rather long spring fashion wish list (to be honest it could have been a lot longer, I want everything from Joules and Atterley Road!).

What is on your spring fashion wish list?
