Week in photographs #38/39

Here is my latest week in photographs post where I show you the main parts of my week - I have decided to make these posts every two weeks so I have time for other posts. Anyway, my week has consisted of: Facetime calls to my sister at uni, oreo milkshakes, writing reviews, meeting up with family, coffee, new makeup/skincare/candle buys, being ill and fall/halloween draft posts. 

I am still ill this week with a cold so I haven't wanted to do much at all, I have just been writing reviews and blog posts and making soup and oreo milkshakes! I have been loving oreo milkshakes recently. I just put about four oreos, three small scoops vanilla ice cream and approx. 50ml milk in a blender/food processor and it makes an amazing oreo flavoured milkshake - I think I have an addiction! 

There have been quite a few new beauty releases that have just hit online stores such as the revlon chalkboard nail polish duos (drooling over), the new Barry M matte and glitter fall polishes, Loreal's eau de teint foundation, a bourjois eyebrow mascara that I haven't seen before, new barry m eyeshadow palettes, Lush halloween products and the Boots christmas shop is now open - exciting! 

Also I have been writing fall/autumn/halloween related posts this week - I have so many blog posts drafts it is a bit crazy! I have halloween and fall nail designs, wish lists, recent makeup/skincare/candles buys, eczema, contouring, my favourite drugstore makeup, muji makeup storage and so much more coming over the next month, so stay tuned! I have a giveaway coming soon too which I am excited about but it will only be for UK residents as it is four full size Ciate nail polishes, samples and a Topshop eyeshadow crayon!

I now have over 880 followers via GFC and bloglovin combined which is just amazing and my blog has gone over 50,000 page views this week too which I am so happy about - thank you to everyone who follows my blog!

Week in photographs #17

My week has consisted of: cooking, winning lots of competitions, sun, uni work and occasional window shopping. 

Firstly, uni, my dissertation is due in on the 1st May (nervous) so I have lots of work to do! 6000 words done, 2000 words to go! I received a booking form for graduation tickets a couple of days ago which made me even more nervous than I already am about graduation - Prof Brian Cox and Sir Patrick Stewart might be there...

Now, cooking, I have been cooking lots of vegetarian pasta and noodles this week (drools) - the pics about show my homemade pesto and samphire pasta. Myself and my sister also made a chocolate cheesecake yesterday - recipe coming soon as I was asked quite a few months ago to post a chocolate cheese cake recipe...oops

I have also been on a really lucky streak for the past couple of weeks. First, two of the horses I picked came 2nd and 3rd in the grand national, then myself and my sister won a £50 free bet from William Hill, then I won three separate hair sets from John Frieda (facebook comp), then I won two online magazine subscriptions and I won a blog competition for an organic face cream...I hope my lucky streak lasts long enough for my uni results!
