If you have been following my blog for a while you will know that I have a slight major obsession with rose gold - from rose gold nail polish and homeware to watches and jewellery, I cannot get enough. So when I was kindly offered the opportunity to review and item of jewellery from the lovely people at Gemporia, I had to pick something that was rose gold!
I chose *Gemporia Rose Gold Zig-Zag Stacker Ring (£44) which is 10K rose gold and it is from their Arezzo D'oro collection. I thought that finding a rose gold piece for under £50 would be a bit of a struggle but there are so many rose gold items at such reasonable prices, especially for the design and quality.
One issue I have with ordering jewellery of any kind online is that sizing can differ from store to store, especially with rings. I didn't know my size but Gemporia actually have their own ring sizer app which I downloaded free from the app store. To use the app you just place a ring that you already own onto the screen and use the slider to match the size of the circle on the screen to the inner rim of your ring. The app worked perfectly and the app stated that my size was a L-M size on my middle fingers and a J-K on my ring fingers. I wanted the ring on my middle fingers so I picked the size L-M; when the ring arrived it fits my fingers perfectly. The app is such a fantastic idea as otherwise I wouldn't have known my size and it would be great if you are buying for someone else.
The ring arrived in a cute white velvet pouch and it has all of the hallmarks on the inside. I love the design, it is simple but elegant and modern. The points are rounded so they aren't sharp and they also don't catch on clothing. I have been wearing it with my dove grey and rose gold watch from Breo as I love pairing rose gold together along with soft pastel shades. I've also been wearing it with more monochrome outfits and I think rose gold jewellery just goes with everything!
Overall, I love the design of the ring, it feels really durable and it is very comfortable; I hardly notice that I am wearing it although it is weighty for what it is, if that makes sense! I have been wearing it constantly, I love it! Overall rating:
