Organic Aromas Essential Oil Diffuser

Thursday, June 02, 2016
I have wanted to try an essential oil diffuser for so long so when the opportunity arose to review the *Organic Aromas Raindrop Essential Oil Diffuser ($95) I was so excited to give it a go! The diffuser comes with the base, main lead/plug, pipettes, the glass reservoir, glass cap, instructions and the Organic Aromas signature pure essential oil (5ml). It doesn't required water or heat as it is a nebulizing diffuser.

The diffuser is so quick and easy to set up, the instructions are easy to follow and everything came really nicely packaged and it was well protected. I adore the Raindrop design, it is sleek, simple and minimalist. I have the 'light wood' version which is perfect with the light coloured and minimalist decor I have in my bedroom and office - it's handmade which makes it feel really special.

Once set up, I used the essential oil that was included in the kit which contains a blend of elemi, clary sage, cajeput, bergamot and chamomile. The essential oil smells so nice, it is musky and earthy which I love! When switched on the LED light progresses through a rainbow of colours and the essential oil is diffused throughout the room in bursts of two minutes with a one minute break after the two minutes.

You can adjust how much essential oil you dispense into the diffuser as well as the strength with a dial at the back of the diffuser although I find the strength to be a little overwhelming so I have to keep switching off the diffuser after a few minutes. The only negative I can think of with this device is that the noise is a little loud, it's a buzzing kind of noise but I think some would find it a little relaxing but for me it's definitely a negative!

Overall, I am really happy with the diffuser and I can't wait to use my other essential oils in it! I adore the design, it's so easy to set up and use, I love the rainbow of colours and the quality. Delivery was relatively quick, the diffuser was well packaged and protected and the hopefully the diffuser will be easy to clean. As I said my only negative is the noise but that's just my opinion - however the noise might just be because I didn't put enough essential oil in the diffuser! They have other designs and essentials oils to choose from too. Overall rating: ★★★★☆, 4/5

What do you think of this diffuser? Do you have an essential oil diffuser?
