I have already started decorating for halloween and autumn with brushed cotton sheets, candles (the best autumn and halloween candles are definitely from TKMaxx), wreaths, blankets and obviously pumpkins. The decor and shades for this time of the year make me feel so cosy and while I don't have my dream home yet, it makes me think of all the features and decor I'd would have!
Glass BalustradeI would love a glass balustrade within my dream home, particularly if it could be combined with a spiral staircase as who doesn't want a spiral staircase. I do like the look of cute wooden balustrades but I think the glass options look so more more modern, easier to maintain and could fit within almost any decor or colour scheme. I also love the idea of a glass juliet balcony which is something I've never really thought of before but they look unique and they'd help to bring in more natural light.
Waterfall ShowerAnother feature I would love, especially for this time of the year is a waterfall shower which not only look amazing but I think it would make me never want to leave the shower! When both of the bathrooms were being renovated last year it was something I would have loved to choose but because of the size, they just wouldn't work sadly.
PorchThe most autumn related feature that my dream home would have to have is a cute American-style porch for spending time reading on and for displaying all of the pumpkins I can possibly imagine! I have an entire board on Pinterest dedicated to home decor and recently pumpkin filled porches with fairy lights and candles have featured heavily.
