Liberty London, Fortnum & Mason and Daunt BooksI'm one of those people who, when visiting a new city, I'd much rather go sight seeing than shopping so each time I've gone to London I've gone sight seeing - besides the trip to Harrods when I was around twelve! However, I would love to visit Liberty London purely for instagram...Fortnum and Mason and Daunt Books, the latter seems to be an amazing book store in an Edwardian building.
British MuseumOver ten years ago I did visit the natural history museum in London very briefly so I'd love to go again as well as the British museum. I adore visiting museums and I really need to visit more and the British museum contains lots of historic artefacts including Egyptian mummies and relics.
St Paul's CathedralI've been lucky enough to visit a lot of Europe via cruises with my family and we always tend to visit churches such as Saint Peters Basilica in Vatican City. I haven't visited many churches within the UK apart from Chester Cathedral so I'd love to visit St Paul's as it looks incredible. I'm not religious in any sense but I do love visiting churches as they are amazing feats of engineering and architecture as well as such peaceful and calming places to visit.
London Eye & The ShardNow, I'm torn with this one as I'm not a fan of heights but I'd love to have the amazing views of London that you'd get from the London Eye. The same goes for The Shard which seems to be a popular spot for bloggers and the views will be amazing. Discount London have tickets to spend New Years Eve at The Shard which will be incredible and very special!
Hampton Court PalaceThe final place is outside of central London as it's on the borough of Richmond Upon Thames. Hampton Court Palace is famously the palace in which Henry VIII lived so there is a lot of history within the building and the gardens look amazing too. It is a little far for me to visit from rainy Manchester but I'd love to visit next summer!
Have you visited any of these places? Do you have any London sights or attractions that you'd recommend?

London is so beautiful. I love the little cafes and random shops you find just wondering around. I want to go and visit some of the galleries and museums too.

You've made me want to book a trip to London and visit all these places! St. Paul's cathedral is amazing, and I'd love to visit that book shop now! There really aren't many traditional old school book shops around anymore, it's sad :(

I've been to London quite a few times but the only place I've been that you've mentioned is the Natural History Museum, it's definitely one of those places you can revisit multiple times and still be in awe though! I really loved the sealife aquarium and thought it was super worth the money, the London Eye was closed for refurb when we visited though, I was gutted!

I'm planning on taking a trip to London in December, specifically to go to Winter Wonderland - I've been to WW once before and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Visiting The Shard is on my London to-do list for sure and the London Eye is always a breathtaking experience :) xo
