Gift Idea: DKNY Fresh Blossom EDP

When it comes to gifting, there are a few 'safe' categories such as food, homeware, candles and of course, perfume. I've gifted and received perfumes for birthdays and Christmas and they are always welcome gifts as I LOVE perfume *there is no such thing as too much perfume*. I have tried so many brands from high end and luxury perfume houses to cheap, high street and inexpensive brands but one that I've wanted to try for years is DKNY.

The DKNY perfumes are pretty iconic with their reasonable price point, cute apple shaped bottle and famous adverts. I've wanted to try the original for a while but the *DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom EDP Gift Set (£27.99) caught my eye on Chemist-4-U and I had to give it a go! The gift set comes in a cute box with the 50ml EDP and a 100ml body lotion.

The fragrance comes in the cute apple shaped bottle with a pink tint to the perfume so it looks gorgeous on my vanity table. I also love the adorable little fruit sticker on the body lotion and perfume bottle. The perfume is an EDP so it is more long lasting than EDT fragrances and it contains the following notes:

"sparkling grapefruit, casses and sun-kissed apricot meets a blooming floral heart of sheer muguet and petally rose, wrapped in luminous jasmine. Finish the apple sensation with a body lingering base of blonde woods and smooth skin accords" - allbeauty.com

I have been wearing this fragrance constantly since I received it as it's such a 'heather' fragrance! I always opt for slightly sweet, floral and fresh fragrances at any time of the year and this one fits the bill so perfectly. The main thing I love about this fragrance is just how fresh it is which makes it a great everyday fragrance. The longevity is pretty good at around five hours on me but when paired with the body lotion on the wrists it does last a little longer.

I'd definitely recommend this fragrance and the gift set in general as it would make a lovely Christmas gift or treat for yourself! The fragrance is lovely and I think it would be a hit with so many people. Chemist-4-U has a great range of toiletries, fragrances and gift sets and pharmacy products at fantastic prices.
