*Summer Staples: Clothing + Accessories

For me personally I have a love/hate relationship with summer as on the one hand my birthday is in August and we usually go on holiday during the summer months but then on the other hand, summer clothing, humid british heat and beer bellies on display...that I'm not a fan of! It can be very difficult to know what to wear to suit you in the summer, how to style your hair and what shoes to wear! But if you carry on reading, you’ll know how to do it all, so don’t worry!

The Clothes: Floaty Dress & Maxi Skirts

In the summer, we need to avoid a few things - the first one is tight fitting clothes, we need to avoid these because in the summer heat they can stick to you and make you even warmer which could actually be dangerous as heat stroke can be quite serious! What you want to be wearing is some form of skirt or dress. Not only are they available in a huge amount of different styles, they are actually very practical. You can then enjoy the summer shine a bit more because everything will be nice and cool instead of sticky and hot! This is more of a practical benefit than a fashionable one but the two still go hand in hand here if you buy the right one. The Hair: Wigs & Lighter Shades

Summer is a great time for your hair because you can do anything with it! If you have long hair, leaving it down might make you a bit warm but because of the heat you can have it in a bun or a plait. Blonde hair seems like it was almost designed for summer time but you might not want to make a potentially expensive change of dying your hair so wigs are a great option. Wigs are great for accentuating your appearance, they look natural and you don’t have to worry about it like you do with your real hair. The Shoes: Sandals & Wedges

Shoes are a big part of your outfit, often the focal point. The warmer weather means that you can wear anything that is more casual and loose on your feet like sandals! You could also opt for cute ankle boots to pair with a floaty dress or summery wedges. So there you have it, this is how you look good during the summer! As long as you keep yourself cool and comfortable, you can’t go wrong!
