Back in 2012 I had the Selfridges beauty advent calendar which was my very first beauty advent calendar and at the time there was really only the Selfridges beauty advent calendar but now there are so many to choose from! If I had the money to spare I would get the Liberty's or Jo Malone advent calendars but they are so expensive! I am very tempted by the Lush, You Beauty Discovery and Tarte advent calendars!
Also Tesco have just brought out a beauty advent calendar (£50, here) and Topshop have a nail polish advent calendar (£50, here).

Which beauty advent calendar do you want? Have you had a beauty advent calendar before?
I've never had a beauty advent calender before, but I had no idea there was so many to choose from! I like the look of Benefit and You Beauty, but I also think the Topshop Jewellery one would be really fun!

I had no idea about the Tesco one, I wonder if it's worth the £50 price tag, do you have any more details on it by any chance? I would also love the Tarte one but it would probably be a nightmare to get it shipped here to the UK x

Hi, sorry I don't have the press release for it but it looks pretty good - here is the link: http://www.tesco.com/direct/beauty-at-tesco-coundown-to-christmas-advent-calendar/461-0338.prd
DeleteThe Tarte one sounds fab to me x
ReplyDeleteI always buy the beauty calenders in the Christmas sales because they're usually at least half the price, which means I don't feel bad about buying two;)

I'm reaaally tempted by the Yankee Candles advent calendar this year! With the beauty ones I'd just be worried that if they didn't work for me, it would be a huge waste of money :/ xx

I had the yankee candle calendar last year and it was good although there were only 4/5 different scents and they were not labelled x
DeleteThat's cute!

I love the beauty advent calendars and I i'm so pleased to see more brands on the bandwagon. I just wish they were slightly more affordable! A £30 calendar would be awesome. Great post Heather!

I know! Even just a couple of years ago there were only two/three on the market but there are so many now - even ones I haven't included in my post! I believe Avon and Glossybox are making them now too!
