I was kindly sent a dress to review from In Love With Fashion (through EtailPR), honesty as always, to see my disclaimer, click here. I have never tried anything from In Love With Fashion before but a lot of their items are worn by celebrities and reality tv stars.
I have the *In Love With Fashion Black and White Gingham Shift Dress (£30) in the size S, Small. I am a UK 6/8 in dresses and this dress is fine on the top half of me but it is a bit big on the lower half - on the hanger it looks quite big. If you are thinking of getting this dress then just get what your normal size would be but it may be slightly oversized.
I do not have anything in this gingham pattern - I haven't since primary school but it is so popular right now and I love monochrome anyway! The dress feels well made, it is made of a fairly thick fabric but it is definitely not too thick for spring. The print is really nice and the fit is fine. The one thing I do not like about the cut of the dress are the sleeves - they are short cap sleeves which I personally hate! So I had to wear my Promod faux leather jacket with it, I don't think I would wear it without a jacket or cardigan. I paired the dress with my *Oroblu tights which are incredibly soft and comfy & my Asos ankle boots which I have worn to death!
Overall, I love the print, it is made well and it is so on trend but I do not like the cap sleeves and it is a little big on me - but the length is great and I am petite. I would recommend this dress and I would like to try more items from In Love With Fashion, although a lot of pieces are not really to my personal taste. I would rate this dress, ★★★★☆ 4/5.
Have you tried anything from In Love With Fashion? What do you think of this dress and trend?
