Review: Jana Reinhardt Sleepy Fox Necklace
Monday, May 05, 2014
I was very kindly allowed to pick an item from the lovely people at Jana Reinhardt Jewellery a couple of weeks ago, for more information on my disclaimer, click here, honesty as always. It was difficult to choose one item, there were quite a lot of gorgeous items to choose from and I had my eye on a number of pieces! I decided on the adorable sleepy fox necklace.
I have the *Jana Reinhardt Sleepy Fox Necklace in Sterling Silver (£145). I first heard of Jana Reinhardt through EtailPR, then through Twitter and the media/press. They were finalists in the UK Jewellery Awards 2013 as well as gaining a silver award at the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Awards, among other achievements! I was so excited when my Jana Reinhardt necklace arrived, I knew it would be very special!

Firstly, the packaging and presentation. The box is white and very clean/simple which I love. The packaging is gorgeous and I think it would make a very nicely presented gift for anyone. I chose the Sleepy Fox Necklace (sterling silver, 45cm) as I do not own anything like it, it is so adorable and in my opinion perfect for spring/summer. I love dainty silver jewellery, it is the only jewellery I wear (although I am kind of lusting after rose gold pieces too at the moment). The silver is flawless and there is a green sapphire set into the necklace where the chain meets the fox. The chain is dainty and it doesn't look or feel heavy while wearing the necklace, it is quite light overall so it is comfortable to wear all day. The necklace is sterling silver although it doesn't have a hallmark as it weighs less than the required amount for hallmarking. Although, it is still very luxe and special and it should as each item is made by hand!
I cannot describe adequately how adorable this little guy is and how much I love this necklace! The detail on the fox is fantastic, from the eyes to the tiny ears. I have been wearing it non stop pretty much since I received it and I can't stop showing everyone. I have been wearing this necklace with stripy tops, skinny jeans and wedges. Although it would look equally as amazing with a simple dress and heels for a special occasion. It is a versatile, comfortable, simple necklace that is made to a very high standard which is bound to make the wearer feel very special!
Overall, I am so impressed by the presentation, quality, design and versatility of this adorable necklace from Jana Reinhardt. I am glad I chose this design, it is too cute - all of Jana Reinhardt's jewellery is so sweet and simple! You will see this neclace in quite a few OOTD's and lookbooks. The other items I had my eye on include the Wing Necklace, the Sparrow Charm Necklace and the cute Duckling Necklace. Have you bought anything from Jana Reinhardt? What do you think of this adorable sleepy fox necklace?

In Love With Fashion Competition
Monday, November 04, 2013
In Love With Fashion are currently holding a giveaway whereby you can win £30 to spend on their site. In Love With Fashion believe that you should always wear an item more than once and being able to transform your summer clothing into autumn/winter outfits is a great money saving idea. Send your blog post entries via facebook and you can share your entries via twitter. Email lfa@inlovewithfashion for examples and to send your entry. Closes 7th November. Also write a small description of your outfits/theme.
Outfit One: This outfit comprises the Cream Cropped Cable Knit Jumper (£28) that is in all three outfits. The aim of the competition was to find items that you can use with numerous outfits. The jumper comes in a white and grey shade too. I paired the jumper with a Zara like skort were it looks like a skirt but it is a pair of black smart shorts. The Black Wrap Shorts are priced at £32. I like the casual jumper with a pair of smart, formal shorts. I think this outfit would look great with a pair of formal but sexy heels, such as these ILWF Triple Buckle Chunky Heel Shoes (£30). You could add nude or thin black tights. A simple but smart outfit.
Outfit Two: Again the same jumper but this time over the Pink Floral Summer Playsuit (£36). Adding a chunky knitted jumper over a floral summery playsuit gives the more summery items in your wardrobe a new lease of life. Team with Nude Suede Platform Shoes (£10, sale) or even with black biker boots! Rose gold jewellery would look great with this look.
Outfit Three: My favourite outfit! Make the cute cream jumper a bit more edgy with a gorgeous White Tartan Shift Dress (£30). Tartan is a massive trend right now and I think this dress would look great with the cream jumper over the top. Add some black biker boots and thick black tights this outfit would look amazing!
There are my outfits, my theme is: girly turned grungy and making more summery clothing into outfits that you can wear during the autumn and winter with a few additions x
Review: Casio Silver Ladies Watch
Wednesday, October 30, 2013
I am signed up to the Etail PR blogger network and I applied for their campaign involving a store called The Watch Hut. The Watch Hut is the UK's largest watch website and they have have a few stores around the UK. I was sent the Casio Silver Ladies Watch to review, however even though I was sent this product to review, the photographs and opinions are honest and my own (see the PR sub heading for some more information).
Before I received the watch I was a bit concerned about the size as my wrists are quite tiny but the watch itself is fairly small so it is perfect for me. The watch is a great size, I love the silver and burgundy colours - they look great and the watch goes with a lot of casual outfits. I have been wearing this watch mostly with skinny jeans, chunky jumpers and boots, for example, my nordic style H&M jumper and more recently a chunky black jumper that I bought in the Ark sale. It is a nice versatile watch in my opinion.
The closure on the watch strap is easy to use, I had to get my dad to slide the closure further down the metal strap as it was too big on my small wrists but it was easy to alter using a small jewellers screwdriver. The watch set up was also easy and it has a timer and alarm on it too. The watch is also water resistant and it is lightweight and flexible so it is fairly comfortable to wear. However I do find the metal links that make up the watch strap can pull on the small hairs around the arm which isn't great - but overall, it is a nice watch that looks quite retro! It would make a great Christmas present. It is currently priced at £24.75 on The Watch Hut which I think is a great price as in my opinion it looks a lot more expensive.
