If you have been following my blog for the past few months then you will have noticed that the brand Yves Rocher has popped up quite a few times; it was one of my favourite brands of 2014! I have used about six/severn of their fragrances over the years and I loved all of them, this latest addition is no exception.
I have the lovely *Yves Rocher Vanilla Noire Secrets D'Essences Eau de Parfum (£17 sale, 30ml) which I have been wearing so much recently along with fragrances from Caudalie, Diptyque and The Library Of Fragrance. I love the bottle, it looks very luxe and fancy! The notes are as follows: vanilla bourbon absolute, tahitian vanilla absolute and ugandan vanilla absolute. I have wanted to try a solely vanilla fragrance for a while so this one is perfect for me.
The scent is gorgeous, it is very, very vanillary which I love! It is more suitable for the evening in my opinion as it is very rich, deep and musky yet it still has warm, creamy sweet vanilla tones. I also love the spray as it is very fine and even so you don't get droplets of perfume on your clothing/skin. The longevity of Yves Rocher is not their strong suit but the longevity of this perfume is approx. five hours.
Overall, I love the packaging and because of that alone it would make a lovely gift but it is also a lovely warm, rich evening fragrance too. The longevity is reasonable and it sprays evenly. I would definitely recommend Yves Rocher fragrances, especially for the price as they are usually on offer/sale.
Have you tried any fragrances from Yves Rocher?
