I am not very loyal when it comes to haircare, I switch between brands, rarely buying the same product twice as I always like to try new products and usually haircare and styling products never really wow me enough. However, KMS is a brand that I have bought from time and time again over the past couple of years.
I was recently sent some of their products to try out from the lovely people at TheHut.com and I couldn't wait to start using them! The first product is the *KMS Moist Repair Revival Creme (£12, 125ml) which is a leave in conditioner; it claims to restore moisture balance and improve manageability. I don't like the packaging, I managed to break it first time round. I have been using this product almost every time I wash my hair and it is fantastic. It smells lovely, it doesn't weigh my hair down (unless I use too much) and it helps moisturise and tame my hair. Overall: a great product but the packaging could be much better.
Next up is a product from the KMS Tame Frizz range which I have wanted to try for ages! I have the *KMS Tame Frizz De-Frizz Oil (£10.85, 100ml). I have thick, wavy/curly hair that can be very frizzy; I have a lot of products to help tame the frizz but nothing ever get rid of it completely - low end or drugstore nothing is taming the frizz! The oil is quite thick but when distributed on my palms it turns into a silky thin oil. I have only used it on dry hair so far and it definitely reduces frizz and it makes my hair appear smoother and shiny but not in a greasy way. Overall: a keeper and one to re-purchase.
Last but not least is the *KMS Curl Up Perfecting Lotion; I am always looking for products to enhance my hairs natural wavy/curly texture and I have tried a lot over the years with very little success. This product worked surprisingly well from the first use even though I did apply too much. I applied two pumps of products to the mid lengths and ends of my hair by scrunching the product in my damp hair. I sleep with my hair wet/damp and in the morning my hair was definitely a bit curlier than usual also the curls were more defined. Overall: definitely worth a try!
I bought a few products from KMS last year including the KMS hot flex spray which I love, the KMS clarifying shampoo which I use one every three/four weeks to make my hair squeaky clean and the KMS curl up conditioner which I used up and I would definitely re-purchase.
