Month in Photographs: April

I cannot believe it is May already! The year seems to be flying by so quickly. For me April has consisted of: winning even more competitions, visiting a castle, spending lots of time with family & friends, being ill, gardening, testing lots of products, blog sales, getting a new sofa from Ikea, redecorating and going to the theatre!

Firstly, the very good news! I won a Topshop £250 gift card from Instyle UK Magazine on Twitter last week and I have spent it already, I have 80p left on it! I will show the items in a haul when they arrive. I also won £50 worth of Makeup Revolution makeup which I will be sharing as a giveaway prize in August. I received my GHD Lavender styler prize this month that I won from GHD for their pin to win pinterest competition. I also won a Ciate dolls house set from Cohorted and other prizes from Facebook competitions. I am very lucky winning a lot of competitions (especially the three shopping sprees/gift cards in the past two/three months). I will share some of my prizes with my followers in giveaways throughout the year, so stay tuned! 

I have also been testing products, I feel like I have been bombarding you with product reviews (sorry). I have had a lot of review blog posts due at the same time! April has been a month of great skincare finds from Avene, Green People and Pai. I have also been testing hair accessories from Xtras Online, Wheatgrass from Geco and cosmetics from the lovely people at Marie Natie. There will be more reviews coming soon ft. Wild Olive, Jana Reinhardt and more. 

This month has also been about family and as the easter holidays (approx 2/3 weeks long in the UK) were in April - we went to visit the gorgeous Skipton Castle, you can see my post here. Also as an easter present myself and one of my best friends went to watch The Perfect Murder at the Manchester Opera House on the first day it opened in Manchester. The play was amazing and I saw Roy Cropper and other actors from Coronation Street and Freddie Flintoff in the audience with us! #fangirlmoment

Also we have been redecorating, painting and getting a new sofa this month which is exciting if you are a home ware nerd as I am! And I had some extra money from my blog sale (which is still running now) so I treated myself to some makeup I have wanted to try for ages from Hourglass and Kevin Aucoin. Has anyone else been entering the Barry M #BMSELFIE competition on Facebook - I have been entering everyday and it seems like the stupidest and most ridiculous entry wins! Rant over. 

Are there any PR or Intern jobs in Northern England, all of them seem to be in London sadly, leave a link to any pr/intern job websites if you can, it would be greatly appreciated. Finally, today I received a Benefit They're Real Macara in the post as a prize for voting in The Sunday Times beauty awards which was a nice surprise - I will be giving it away to one lucky follower next week!

That was my month, I have probably missed a lot out! My blog will turn two years old on the 9th May and I will be hosting an international giveaway to celebrate, hint = Benefit and Tom Ford...
