Well, it has been about 7 weeks since I last posted a week in photographs, oops! So I thought I would start doing an update every month instead as I had so many other posts that needed to go up instead of weekly/fortnightly updates. So I will be updating you every month now, here is what my February looked like.
Well, this month has been a bit of a strange one - I went to the most disgusting pub in the world, I have been trying to use up my Lush bath bombs, unexpected sale shopping, seasonal nail art, I have been helping a friend of mine create her own food blog (click here to check it out), I have received quite a lot of items to review this month, catchups with the girls, my blog makeover and I won two amazing competitions!
Firstly, the competitions, a couple of weeks ago I won a Bourjois Nail Battle competition and I won the first place prize of a £200 Very.co.uk voucher which is just incredible - I rang everyone to tell them. I don't have the voucher yet but hopefully it will arrive soon. Then the next day at almost the same time, I won a Dorothy Perkins Pinterest competition for valentines day and I won a £250 Dorothy Perkins voucher! I have the voucher and I have only spend about £86 so far, I am surprised at how restrained I have been.
Also I have been experimenting with different nail art ideas, such as creating my own nail stickers/decals, creating pinstripe floral nails and also cruelty free animal inspired nails. I will post a nail art post next week probably. I have been writing a lot of draft blog posts such as a Bioderma/Farmaline review, haul posts, 50 facts about me and Mother's Day gift guides.
I don't think I am going to post favourites post now as it is a bit late but here are some of the products I have been loving through February: Vaseline Cocoa Body Lotion Spray, Clarins Extra Comfort Foundation, Ecotools Brushes, Burberry Body Perfume, Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm Pot and the Kiehl's Hand Salve.
I haven't been very active on my blog or social media over the past five days as I have really bad chest ache, I don't know why and I am a bit worried about it but my parents who are both nurses say that it is either just muscular or a viral infection, both of which will go away on their own. But I am a bit worried/nervous about the pain/discomfort especially as it is across my chest - but there are no lumps ect. I am not going to be that active on my blog until it has gone, maybe within a week and hopefully I wont have to go to the doctors about it.
I hope everyone had a great february! Stay tuned on Saint Patrick's Day for a mini giveaway!
