London is undoubtedly one of the most impressive cities in the world! If you decide to take advantage of Cheap Flights to London or if you're nearer and can take the train this summer, you won’t be disappointed because the place is absolutely brimming with interesting history, impressive architecture and some of the best museums and attractions around. Here are some of the city’s most impressive and more unusual attractions that you don’t want to miss:

The Clown’s Gallery-Museum
If you’ve been a jabbering wreck ever since your trip to the circus when you were four years old, then this probably isn’t for you but if you have no fear of clowns and you’re looking for something a bit different to do in London, you can’t go wrong with a trip to the Clown’s Gallery-Museum. This tiny attraction is home to an intriguing collection of costumes and props that once belonged to some of the most famous clowns in the United Kingdom. It’s an unwritten rule that every clown must have unique makeup and to ensure this rule was adhered to, clowns would paint their makeup onto a hard-boiled egg. Over 200 of these eggs are currently on display, some cute, some sad and some, truly terrifying!

Dennis Severs’ House
If historical attractions are your thing but you’re looking to visit somewhere less well-known than the Tower of London, make your way to Dennis Severs’ House – a perfectly preserved slice of Spitalfields life between the 18th and early 20th centuries. The Huguenot home is packed with original furniture, decorations and even smells from the periods it seeks to recreate but be aware that tours of the house are silent, so they may not be suitable if you’re travelling with children.

 God’s Own Junkyard
If you’re in London and you’re looking for something slightly offbeat to do, God’s Own Junkyard is tough to beat. This little-known attraction is home to a large collection of neon signs created by Chris Bracey – a neon artist who carried out his work in a Walthamstow Junkyard back in the psychedelic 60s. You’ll see vintage Soho club signs, signs that have been in famous films, including Captain America and even some examples of the artist’s non-sign based artwork which has featured in galleries across the country.

Dans Le Noir?
London is all about one-of-a-kind experiences and experiences don’t get more unique than dining in complete darkness which is what you can do if you book a table at Dans Le Noir? Perhaps not for the faint-hearted, when you enter Dans Le Noir?, you will be plunged into darkness and have to eat your food without being able to see it. The idea is that when you can’t see your food your other senses will take over and the taste, texture and aroma of your food will be enhanced. Just make sure you check your face before you leave!

Are you a lover of London? Which of the city’s attractions do you believe to be must-see?
