Salon Sciences Haircare
I'm always looking for new haircare to try so when I had the opportunity to try some products from Salon Sciences, I was excited to give them a go. Salon Sciences have four main product ranges and I chose the Aquacacteen range which is designed for hydration and scalp relief; it contains rare organic cactus extract to soothe and rehydrate. There are five products in the range and I have four of them to share my thoughts on today:

*Salon Sciences Aquacacteen Hydraluxe Shampoo (£11, 250ml)
The shampoo is designed for a distressed scalp and to help clear away impurities; it is gentle and so effective! It has a gel like consistency with a pleasant scent and it lathers really well. I always wash my hair before a bath as my hair can get really tangled and dry if I wash it in bath (is that TMI?) but with this shampoo and conditioner combo that doesn't happen so obviously I've been having almost constant Lush baths! The shampoo cleanses my hair so well but leaves it moisturised, smooth, mostly tangle free and lightweight. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

*Salon Sciences Aquacacteen HydraLuxe Conditioner (£12, 250ml)
This conditioner is one of the best I've ever tried, it leaves my hair so incredibly smooth, moisturised and tangle free so much so that it almost acts as a hair mask and detangler in one. I love the scent, the packaging and it works so well for my dry hair and scalp. I cannot recommend it enough, it really helps my scalp and keeps my hair looking and feeling fantastic! Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

*Salon Sciences Hydrasoothe Cooling Spray (£10, 150ml)
I haven't tried a scalp spray before so I didn't know what to expect; it claims to provide relief to tight, dry and sensitive scalps which sounds perfect for me but to be honest I didn't find that it did much apart from having a slightly cooling effect. It didn't make my hair look or feel greasy which is a surprise but I don't think I'll be reaching for it sadly but the rest of the products I've tried are amazing. Overall rating: ★★☆☆☆, 2/5.

*Salon Sciences Hydrasorb Intensive Mask (£14, 150ml)
I have been really slacking on looking after my hair and using hair masks, I used to be so diligent about it but now I've been piling this mask on in the bath and it makes my scalp feel so cool, refreshed and cleansed which I haven't had from any other hair mask. It is fantastic and leaves my hair and scalp clean, lightweight and bouncy but moisturised, smooth and tangle free. Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

Have you tried any products from Salon Sciences? What haircare products have you been loving recently?
