Merumaya Cleansing Balm
I love testing out new skincare, especially natural, British and award winning skincare! So I was excited when I received a package from the lovely people at Merumaya. I was kindly sent the *Merumaya Melting Cleansing Balm (£16.50, 100ml). I haven't tried anything from this brand but I always read positive reviews about their products.

The cleansing balm contains sweet almond oil and omega 3, 6, 9 as well as antioxidants. Firstly, I like the packaging although I think it could be improved to look more modern however since the first use, I have been loving this cleanser. I have tried solid cleansing balms and I love them but this one has a texture that is like a hybrid between a cleansing balm and a creamy, gel cleanser.
Merumaya Cleansing Balm
The cleansing balm has a smooth, rich and luxurious texture - it doesn't irritate my eczema prone skin at all which is fantastic. It removes makeup easily, although I haven't tried it on any eye makeup. It leaves my skin feeling so smooth, soft and moisturised. It doesn't leave a residue and it doesn't make my skin breakout.

Overall, I think the price is fantastic for such a fantastic, basic cleansing balm. It feels like a luxurious product that gets the job done and that leaves my skin incredibly smooth, soft and moisturised, to an extent. It doesn't irritate my sensitive, eczema prone skin or cause spots. I am definitely interested in trying more from the brand! Overall rating: ★★★★★, 5/5.

Have you tried anything from this brand?

  1. I can't say I've seen this anywhere which is a shame because it sounds perfect. Especially since I have sensitive skin so I think it would be such a treat

  9. I had a sample of this product that went missing, and only recently found it so I went to use it. Once again my sensitive skin flared up immediately with use, and what I thought was a light tingle, actually burned my skin. Too a while to clear up. ugh :((((
