ginger and co bath and body care products
When it comes to body care or shower products, I'm not very fussy and I do switch them up a lot as I love to try new products. So when a box full of products from Ginger and Co landed on my doorstep I was very excited. At first glance it looks like a cheaper version of Soap and Glory products, in my opinion.

The lotion contains mallow, lemon balm and rose and it smells gorgeous! The scent won't be for everyone as it is very sweet, floral and powdery to an extent. I personally love the scent, the body lotion is light and absorbs much quicker than I thought it would. It moisturises well, although not as well as a body butter, but it is a lovely lotion for the summer months. Overall rating: ★★, 5/5!

I am a hand cream addict, I have SO many and I always need more especially as I have eczema on my hand so it is constantly very dry, flaky and tight. This cream has the same scent as the body lotion which is gorgeous. The hand cream does absorb fairly quickly, it instantly helps eliminate dryness, tights and it doesn't irritate my eczema! Overall rating: ★★, 5/5.

Again, as with hand creams, I have so many body washes and shower gels and I do tend to switch between them frequently as I get bored with one and move onto another. This one is a keeper though, it smells nice but it isn't as gorgeous as the first two products - it's quite subtle and generic, in my opinion. The body wash lathers really well, it cleanses but doesn't strip the skin and it doesn't irritate my skin. It is moisturising to an extent but I do have to use lotion afterwards. Overall rating: ★★★★☆, 4/5.

The hand wash has the same scent as the body wash but I definitely prefer it in this product, it is slightly stronger and sweeter to me. The hand wash lathers well, it doesn't irritate my eczema and it doesn't dry out my skin; my only negative point is that for a hand wash the bottle is massive and looks a bit out of place on my sink but it does mean that you get a lot of product for your money. Overall rating: ★★★★☆, 4/5.

Last but not least the bubble bath which contains marshmallow leaf, blossom honey and lemon balm - it smells sweet, floral and clean to me but the scent won't be for everyone although it is fairly subtle.   I've only used it a couple of times but it creates a great amount of bubbles and the scent is a little stronger when used. It leaves my skin clean and smooth but it isn't very moisturising, in my opinion. Overall rating: ★★★★☆, 4/5.

Overall, I think this brand is a fantastic 'dupe' for Soap and Glory bath/body products. I love the hand cream, hand wash and body lotion, they all smell gorgeous and work so well, especially considering the very low price point! I would definitely recommend all of the products I've tried.

Have you tried any products from Ginger + Co?
