Valentines Gifts + Pampering Ft. Nip+Fab

Friday, February 06, 2015
Valentines day is almost here and it is not only a time to treat those closest to us but also to treat ourselves. Today's post is all about the body care and skincare brand Nip+Fab; they have a range of products for men and women that would not only make great valentines day gifts but also products to treat yourself.

Firstly, Nip+Fab have a whole range of detox and de-stress body care products such as scrubs, body washes, hand creams and lotions. There are three main ranges: Detox, Yoga and De-Stress; I have three products from the De-Stress range which contains calming frankincense, orange blossom and sandalwood fragrance. I love the presentation/packaging, it looks unique and cute as well as being practical.

The first product I tried is the *Nip+Fab De-Stress Blend Body Lotion (£6.99, sale, 490ml) which has a pump dispenser which I love and it smells amazing! It smells very musky but also sweet and floral, its a heavenly combination which is actually quite spa like. The lotion isn't the fastest to absorb but its lovely to use and used in conjuction with the scrub and body wash, the scent really lasts on my skin. The *Nip+Fab De-Stress Body Wash (£6.29, sale, 500ml) has the same lovely scent but it has a soapy scent to it as well. The body wash lathers well, it doesn't dry out my skin and the whole range doesn't irritate my skin. The bottles are huge so they are going to last a long time! Lastly for this range, the *Nip+Fab De-Stress Body Scrub (£6.99, sale, 200ml) is one of my favourite products from the three I have tried. I love body scrubs and this one is great as it actually contains small grainy scrubbing particles rather than little beads as some scrubs do. However it isn't as abrasive as I would personally want it to be but if you are after a good but gentle scrub then I would definitely recommend this one.

Next up, Nip+Fab also have a range of mens products, named Nip+Man which contains such a wide range of products from skincare, body care and 'sculpting & fitness' products. I have three products which I think would make great valentines gifts for boyfriends, husbands or friends either on their own or as a hamper. I think one factor that definitely puts men off using skincare is that it is seen as feminine however the packaging of these products makes the skincare seem far less girly! I have the *Nip+Man Scrubbing Face Wash, *Turbo Face Wash and the *Daily Power Moisturiser - all of which are £7.95 each which I think is a reasonable price. The products smell quite masculine and they contains some nourishing skincare ingredients such as grape seed extract, jojoba seed oil, papaya fruit extract and more.

Overall, I think Nip+Fab have a great range of products for men and women, from body care, skincare, makeup and fitness products all of which would make great gifts individually or in a hamper! Here are a few examples of their other products and gift sets:

Have you tried any products from Nip+Fab? If you have, what are your favourites?

  4. Why do all the British brands always seem so lovely when it comes to cosmetics and beauty? Too bad I have not seen these here in Berlin - if I did, I would definitely give them a go.

  7. I've seen this brand before in stores, but never head anything about. No one ever talks about it, so I never knew whether to trust them or not. I have sensitive skin, so I'll have to take a look at the ingredients, but I'm interested now!
