Week in photographs #47/48

Monday, December 09, 2013

Another two weeks has gone by, and it is nearly Christmas! The past two weeks has consisted of: nail art, Christmas gifts, decorating the house, making mini oreo doughnuts, winning competitions, writing Christmas themed posts, Picking my new year fancy dress costume, London Beauty Hub feature, my cousins visiting from Australia and a new blog design.

Firstly, my younger sister came home from uni for the weekend and my cousins from Australia came back to Manchester this weekend so we met them when they arrived. Another one of my many cousins ordered them a limousine to pick them up from the airport - it had a disco ball light under the limo!

Also this week, I have been getting in the festive spirit entering Christmas competitions, holding my own Christmas giveaway (it ends soon!), Christmas nail art, decorating the house, putting up the tree and my Yankee Candle advent calendar - I really like the merry marshmallow and snowflake cookie scents. I also have a Christmas gift guide showing unique gifts for men and women from After Noah, click here to see the gift post

I have also been cooking and baking this week. I made sweetcorn chowder which I love and I made some mini oreo doughnuts. I bought a mini doughnut tray from amazon and I think they look cute but next time I would definitely add more oreos. If you have a good doughnut recipe please write it in the comments or link your blog post/recipe below.

Current favourite tv: Elementary, The IT Crowd, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Sherlock and Not Going Out.

Current favourite beauty products: Organic surge intensive moisturiser, Loreal everriche shampoo, Burberry body perfume and Bareminerals mineral veil.

Finally, I have had a blog design change this week as my blog went a bit crazy but I LOVE the result, what do you think? My last giveaway for december ends soon, click here to enter! And check out my beauty secrets feature on London Beauty Hubs website, click here to see the article. x
