Christmas Presents!

Friday, December 28, 2012
I thought that I would create a blog post about some of the Christmas presents I received this year from my parents, sister, family, friends and neighbours! I thought it would be interesting and provide possible gift ideas although this post may be a bit controversial as I don't want to appear to be bragging etc which I am not - hope you find this post interesting/useful!
Firstly, I received a Stila Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow in the shade 'Kitten' which is a gorgeous champagne shade that it gorgeous on the lids. These pot cream eyeshadows are priced at around £13 and this one was bought from cultbeauty.co.uk but they can also be found at feelunique.com (free worldwide shipping)!

I also received the Molecule 01 fragrance from Escentric Molecules which is just made of one fragrance molecule. It is an unusual concept as all other fragrances are made from sometimes hundreds of notes and this fragrance is supposed to smell different on everyone and on me this smells like licorice and a mix of other scents. The fragrance is unusual but I really like it and apparently it is more noticeable to others than to yourself - I haven't tried this fragrance long enough to write a full review. I have the 30ml refill version which doesn't have a lid but it is only around £28 and the 100ml version is priced at £64.

I also received the Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash which I LOVE! The three neutral shades in this set are just gorgeous - they are soft, smooth and creamy and they apply/blend like a dream! This set was bought from cheapsmells.co.uk and I bought it on behalf of my sister and it was around £14.
The next items I received were a collection of Bath and Body Works candles. Two mini candles in the scents 'autumn' which I have had before and I love it - it smells like crisp fresh apple. The second mini candle is 'creamy pumpkin' which also smells gorgeous. I received a large candle in the scent 'cinnamon nut bread' too which smells really similar to the Yankee Candle World Journeys Danish Butter Cookie Candle.

I also received a Starbucks Travel Mug (£5 from Tesco but it is now reduced to £3.50). And a large Starbucks gift set (from Boots) which contains two mugs, two candy canes and Christmas blend coffee packet. I love Starbucks mugs, I have quite a lot of them from gift sets over the past couple of years.
I also received some individual bits and pieces including some Loreal haircare items and I also received some body products from Avon and Loccitane. I also received a Ciate Caviar Manicure set from one of my aunites which I am very happy about. The set contains a metalic silver polish and a bottle with the small beads in which are various shades of pink, grey and white. The set also contains a funnel and I will definitely be using this set for new years eve/day.

The last present featured in this post is a pair of gorgeous heels from prettysmallshoes.co.uk which is a website specifically for shoes that are very small. I have really small feet (UK size 1) so it is difficult for me to find heels in my size as UK womens heels usually start at size 3. These shoes were from their new super value range as their shoes are usually really quite expensive. The heels are black, high with a slight platform and I love them!

I also received chocolates, pyjamas, slippers, a faux sheepskin blanket, candles, some clothing and money to spend in the sale!

If you celebrate Christmas what did you get? x
