October Empties: Skincare

Saturday, November 03, 2012
These are the few skincare products I have used up this month which are all samples so it does feel like I am cheating a bit! But here are the products I have finished this month...
Firstly, my This Works Tired Eye Serum (£30, 15ml) I have had this serum for a while now and I really like it. I received this product in a set and it is the small 5ml size; but despite the size it has lasted ages although it is difficult to dispense a small amount of this product. This eye serum, well cream, does help smooth my skin and for me I find that it does reduce my dark circles.

Secondly, and carrying on with the expensive skincare theme, I have used up the two Clarins Hydra quench Intensive Serum (£36, 30ml) which are only 3ml each but they lasted a month! The facial serum is just gorgeous; it really smooths and improves the texture of my skin and it just makes my skin feel nicer overall. The serum doesn't irritate my skin and it hydrates my skin slightly too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and if it is on offer I will buy it.

Now onto some random empties; I have used up my three Dr Bronner's Magic Soap 'Pillows' (£5-12). I received these samples in a beauty box and I really like them - I have been using them as hand soap but I find that they can be a little bit drying on my skin. Overall, they work really well as a hand soap and they also works fantastically well as soap to clean makeup brushes!

Lastly, a toothpaste, I wouldn't normally review toothpaste at all but I was really quite disappointed but this. This is the Colgate Max White One Toothpaste; I received this product as a sample with a Superdrug order (I have also used p the full size tube now) and this product claims to make your teeth one shade whiter in one week - basically it didn't do that, even after using the large tube for a month or so.
