Avon Extra Lasting Lipstick: Cappuccino

Along with this shades 'totally twig' and 'rose creme' this is another one of my Avon Extra Lasting Lipstick/Lip colours. I haven't had this shade for very long but it is becoming one of my favourites. I didn't know whether to buy this shade as I could not find any swatches online so I didn't know if this was going to be too nude for me but this shade is gorgeous. Firstly, the packaging is great as it is sleek, light weight and great for travelling. Secondly this lipstick applies so incredibly smoothly, it glides onto my lips with ease and it feel like a glossy lip balm on application. Click here for my review and swatches of the shade 'totally twig'!
I am really glad that I took the plunge and bought this shade even though I didn't really know what it would look like as I have accidentally stumbled upon the best nude lipstick I have ever tried. I find that as I am fairly pale most nude lipstick wash me out even more and make my lips look 'dead' but this shade makes my lips look fuller, glossy, even and it removes the red/pink tone to my lips and replaces it with a gorgeous healthy peachy beige. This shade is the perfect nude for me and it does not wash me out at all - it is quite like a lip colour Angelina Jolie is seen wearing - nude but defining, flattering and sophisticated. The wear and longveity of this lipstick is not as good as the shade 'totally twig' as this shade only lasts for about five hours on me which I think is still really good. This product also wears off really nicely and it does not look patchy - although this shade can highlight dryness/flakiness very slightly.

Overall, the packaging is great, the application is fantastic, the shade is amazing, the wear is great and this product is usually on offer too (full price is £7)! An amazing product again from Avon.
